KTVB News Group, the TEGNA Inc. subsidiary in Boise, Idaho, has an immediate opening for a Marketing Producer. Work with a talented team in a high-energy environment on a stimulating portfolio of marketing projects. The ideal team member is oriented toward excellence and highly creative and will take ownership of projects while comfortably taking input from clients, managers and team members.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate in the creative design and media production process to effectively communicate the strategic marketing messages of the KTVB Newsgroup, its commercial clients and community partners.

  • Write advertising and promotional copy for print, television and web effectively and succinctly without grammar or spelling errors.

  • Effectively light subjects for photography using studio lighting or natural light.

  • Operate DSLR and digital video cameras, and audio recording equipment.

  • Edit video and digital marketing materials using the Adobe Creative Suite for television broadcast, video streaming and online digital display.

  • Assist with setting up and operating video equipment at televised live events.

  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects with differing timelines to completion on deadline.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field such as Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or Graphic Arts highly preferred.

  • Minimum two years' experience shooting with DSLR and/or high definition digital video camera(s) and video editing in Adobe Premiere .

  • Experience in graphics production using the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects and Illustrator) highly preferred.

  • Must be familiar with various digital media file type and video codecs.

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills required.

  • Organizational skills, creativity and attention to detail are essential.

They will be capable of organizing large volumes of content, multi-cam editing, and ability to work as a self-starter.
