Supports the Global Consumer Marketing team's activities for an assigned channel performing a wide variety of tasks including campaign development, campaign monitoring and reporting, opportunity identification and implementation, and maintenance of marketing materials.

  • Sets-up and deploys advertising campaigns for assigned channel.

  • Leads the creative development for marketing campaigns including testing set-up and results monitoring.

  • Analyzes performance metrics and modifies tactics and strategies throughout the campaign, as necessary, to achieve optimal results.

  • Monitors timelines and expenditures to ensure campaigns are completed on time and within budget.

  • Coordinates with other areas within the marketing department to ensure optimization of efforts and to meet marketing objectives.

  • Develops and maintains internal marketing-related reports, spreadsheets, timelines and documents which drive marketing decisions.

  • Manages cost database and generate partner invoices.

  • Identifies new marketing opportunities and partnerships.

Minimum Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field2 years related work experience

Frequently drives to site locations and frequently travels both domestic and international.Physical DemandsFrequently stationary for 6-8 hours per day. Occasional crouching, stooping, bending and twisting of upper body and neck. Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including luggage and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs. Key publics for the position are clients, potential clients, media and other external audiences seeking information regarding or interaction with PPD. Essential Functions: * Researches, writes and edits corporate and employee profiles and bios and manage repositories. Coordinates headshot photography sessions, working closely with multiple vendors and schedules. * Researches, writes and edits podcast scripts, website promotions and other external communications for specific service/therapeutic areas that support business goals and objectives and align with company positioning. * Coordinates schedule of content for home page of ppdi.com, including selecting photos and writing and editing text. * Manages the news and events page of ppdi.com. Collects, manages and helps assess editorial calendars for topics that tie to marketing areas and thought leadership objectives. Manages subscriptions and library of publications. Oversees reporting of media metrics using appropriate tracking tools and prepares media packets and briefing books, as needed. * Administers PPD's corporate e-blast program, which includes scheduling all eblasts and reporting metrics and performance to meet PPD's overall business priorities. Qualifications: Education and Experience: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification * Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2 years') or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience.
