The Marketing Operations Specialist will be responsible for monitoring, measuring and analyzing the effectives of marketing initiatives as they relate to the overall company's goals. They will act as the power user/platform administrator for the bank's marketing automation platforms, developing, implementing, tracking and optimizing campaigns across digital channels. They will partner with the marketing managers and sales teams for each line of business to create scalable processes that ensure best practices in lead generation and database management. They will also conduct complex data analysis that will be used to inform strategic decisions by stakeholders from across the company. You will be working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects at once.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive the ongoing day-to-day operation, configuration, administration and optimization of marketing automation processes and platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud

  • Manage various campaigns, including the development of workflows and rules, template layout, calls-to-action, and content used in our email sends

  • Create recipient list segmentation rules based on behaviors like past email engagement and website interactions (content downloads, site page visits, etc.)

  • Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management

  • Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact

  • Analyze marketing and sales data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization

  • Monitor and maintain data quality within the marketing database; Liaise with Salesforce and database resources on data sourcing

  • Evaluate and oversee the implementation and integration of new technologies/add-on applications to expand capabilities and make marketing automation process more efficient

  • Create and maintain metric reporting on program and asset performance, anayaze performance trends and generate insights

  • Develop documentation and road maps for processes, A/B tests, and promotions that succeed through automation

  • Assists in the planning of web, SEO/SEM, email, social media, content marketing and display advertising campaigns

  • Create and update digital content (e.g. websites, landing pages, blogs, social media, emails, display advertising) in support of marketing campaigns

  • Maintains and updates website content via content management system

  • Maintains and updates intranet content

  • Assists in the performance of market research, competitor analyses and customer service and retention monitoring processes and initiatives

  • Acts as a brand steward, upholding brand standards and consistency in all projects

  • Other duties as directed management

EXPERIENCE

  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience in similar role

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud experience required

  • Experience with developing email marketing, lead generation/nurturing and web analytics

  • Experience in a banking, financial services or insurance preferred

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Experience developing/managing marketing campaigns via Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud required, experience integrating those systems with other technologies is a plus

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Proficiency with Final Cut Pro, Premier Pro or other video editing software preferred

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite Illustrator, Photoshop preferred

  • Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript is a plus

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with reporting and data analysis

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment

  • Technically capable with a strong desire to improve processes

  • Must possess the ability to work independently, applying education and professional experience to achieve outstanding results

  • Demonstrates highest level technical and cognitive abilities to ensure accuracy, precision and complete projects on time and on budget

  • Ability to understand and manage complex projects, while working under tight schedules and deadline

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with considerable tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgment

  • High level of maturity and stability with an "optimistic" approach
