Marketing Operations Manager - Remote

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Marketing Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will proficiently use leading marketing automation and CRM platforms like Marketo, Hubspot, and Salesforce. This role involves overseeing the efficiency and effectiveness of our marketing operations, ensuring that our marketing strategies are well-executed and optimized for maximum impact. We are looking for someone who loves to help connect marketing teams with the process, governance, data, and technology to drive growth. Utilizing your fluency in SFDC and enterprise marketing systems, you will develop processes, frameworks, and recommendations for translating marketing objectives into actionable campaigns. The Marketing Operations Manager will be an individual contributor and report to Sangoma's VP of Global Marketing.

Your Role:

  • Develop and manage marketing automation strategies using Marketo, Hubspot, and Salesforce.

  • Oversee the implementation of marketing campaigns, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing operations with company goals.

  • Manage the martech stack and ensure all systems are integrated and functioning optimally.

  • Train and support team members in the use of marketing automation tools.

  • Maintain data quality within the CRM and marketing automation platforms.

  • Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into marketing activities.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing operations and technology.

  • Document technical requirements with a specific focus on data attributes and schemas in the form of technical specifications and/or other knowledge base articles to deliver a scaled capability.

  • Develop, document, and enforce business rules, processes, programs, naming conventions, and procedures.

  • Coordinate work streams to identify dependencies and obstacles and ensure they're addressed, track and communicate progress.

  • Support the weekly sprint events in a Scrum Master capacity.

  • Prepare reports, status updates, and documentation of internal processes as needed.

Your Background:

  • 3 plus years in Marketing with a focus on operations and marketing growth

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field or over 5 years of direct marketing experience in operations.

  • Proven experience as a Marketing Operations Manager or similar role.

  • Expertise in Marketo, Hubspot, and Salesforce is essential.

  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.

  • Excellent project management abilities.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in project planning and management, ideally in an Agile environment.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with both marketing and technical teams

Bonus points:

  • You have led a migration from Marketo to Hubspot, while integrating with Salesforce CRM

  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and working knowledge of Jira/Confluence

  • Saas technology marketing experience (UCaaS, CCaaS or Security is a plus)
