Marketing Operations Manager

Job description

The Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for creating and executing digital campaigns in Marketo for the extended Marketing team. Ideal candidates have a background in Marketing automation, and an ability to balance multiple competing priorities with cross functional teams.

We are looking for a driven, detailed-oriented and self-starter to execute digital marketing campaigns from Marketo. Candidates must have technical ability and hands-on knowledge of Marketo and Salesforce.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with marketing team in end-to-end execution of programs in Marketo, including program creation, segmentation, QA, tracking and list imports

  • Monitor lead scoring and propose adjustments based on target conversion rates

  • Develop, execute and QA lead gen digital campaigns using Marketo and Salesforce

  • Asset creation including landing pages, forms and creative assets

  • Develop UTM parameters and programs for high-value content assets to capture conversions by Marketing channel

  • Create and schedule emails for divisions outside of the marketing ecosystem

  • Manage and update the lifecycle of content assets on the ServiceMax website

  • Manage multiple Content Syndication vendors for lead generation programs

  • Upload all records generated from DiscoverOrg, tradeshows and ServiceMax events into Marketo

  • Work closely with marketing team in end-to-end execution of programs in Marketo, including program creation, segmentation, QA, tracking and list imports

  • Assist with data integrity practices, including cleansing, de-duplication and data normalizations

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of hands-on Marketo experience, preferably at a fast-paced start-up

  • Marketo Certified Expert preferred, or other marketing automation systems

  • Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce.com

  • BA / BS degree required

Responsibilities * Manage cross team project timelines and deliverables, creating a common calendar, communicating deadlines and reviewing consistency of deliverables. * Working with the team, develop reusable timelines and templates for recurring project types and common deliverables (Projects such as: product launches, corporate events, QBRs, sales trainings. Deliverables such as: message documents, presentations, quick reference guides, battlecards and other demand and sales support templates). * Develop and maintain a repository, a "mission control" of best practices, templates and process guides, so they can be quickly found and utilized by the team. * Manage cross team project timelines and deliverables, creating a common calendar, communicating deadlines and reviewing consistency of deliverables. * Maintain and ensure materials posted to our content repository to share with other groups are up to date, properly categorized and easy to find. * Attend and represent the team at cross-functional execution meetings for large projects -- such as Workday's annual conference. * For annual conference: Streamline communications and processes between product marketing, events and creative teams to help team members focus on content creation. * Reporting team accomplishments: Develop and gather information for regular (quarterly) reporting formats for team progress. Qualifications: * 7+ years' product marketing experience at a software company * Great attention to detail * Excellent communication skills * Proficient with MS Office products and Google Slides, Docs and Sheets * Competency or willingness to learn project management tools * High-energy, positive and collaborative * Undergraduate degree with a focus on Business or Computer Science * MBA a plus #LI-NH2 Workday, Inc.
