Our Marketing team sets product positioning and strategy, manages product launches, and gathers customer insights. We're responsible for maximizing our products' potential, in order to delight our users and help Dropbox grow. We partner with teams across the company, including Product, Sales, and Engineering.
The Channel Marketing team works with OEMs, distributors, and channel partners to drive awareness, traffic, trials, and revenue for Dropbox paid products. We align with all segments of the marketing team to get the right message to the right audience at the right time, with a laser focus on improving user engagement leading to paid subscription to our market leading products
We're looking for a Marketing Manager to handle global partner communications. Dropbox works with nearly 10,000 channel partners worldwide in the Dropbox Partner Network. This role is responsible for all email and online communications to partners in the network. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working in the IT channel space and helping partners grow and scale their businesses with Dropbox. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, superior project management skills, and experience with cross-functional collaboration.
Work cross functionally across Product, Sales, and Ops to deliver relevant content to global partner base via newsletter communications, service alerts, emails and other channels.
Own the launch plans for highly visible and key channel initiatives to ensure that all partners are made aware of new developments within the Dropbox Partner Program and how they can grow their cloud businesses with Dropbox.
Transform feedback from partners and Sales into tangible content, including playbooks and onboarding guides that will support and improve the partner experience with Dropbox.
Create and deliver a compelling webinar program to partners; work across the business and/or with partners to identify key speakers, develop materials, and deliver webinar leads to Sales.
Identify other potential opportunities to enhance messaging to partners, including the Dropbox Partner Portal homepage, online banner ads, content syndication, and partner communities.
Develop content and messaging for distributor cloud marketplaces and ensure that distributor marketplaces accurately reflect the Dropbox brand and product messaging.
Play a significant role in partner qualitative/quantitative research and advisory councils events; ensure that partner feedback is strategically incorporated into future enhancements of the Dropbox Partner Program.
5+ years in channel, field, or partner marketing experience
Demonstrated experience using marketing automation and CRM tools (Marketo, Eloqua, Salesforce, ABM platforms, etc.)
Experience with channel marketing campaigns to partners and through distributors
Experience with content development, including webinars, playbooks, and partner enablement tools
Project management skills and experience: can prioritize high impact activities and keep complex projects moving forward, working across cross-functional teams
Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and visual
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience preferred
