Periscope Holdings is seeking an experienced and proactive marketing manager to help grow our B2B subscription business. This position will be responsible for generating, segmenting and nurturing leads for the sales team as well as driving direct online purchases. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the marketing manager will also work closely with the VP of Sales to understand the customer, empower the sales team and drive more purchases and renewals.
As a key member of a small marketing team, the ideal candidate must be passionate about digital marketing technologies, be a strong communicator and most importantly, have the skills and energy to plan, execute and report on all programs.
What you will do:
Plan, Execute and Report on demand programs and campaigns to acquire and nurture leads to conversion, and to drive customer engagement and retention. Marketing channels will include but not be limited to SEM, social, digital advertising, email, webinars, affiliates and referrals.
Plan and Execute campaigns and manage the entire inbound lead flow process, from lead capture, to landing page creation, to email and nurture programs.
Segment leads and design nurture campaigns for each buyer type.
Effectively persuade web browsers and leads to move forward with a purchase, with a focus on website enhancements, search ads, affiliate marketing, social and retargeting.
Collaborate on seasonal, monthly and weekly site content and promotions calendar in order to ensure freshness, relevance and balance of storytelling and commerce.
Perform in-depth analyses across campaigns to find actionable insights and drive results.
Work with Director of Marketing, outside design agency and contract writer to ensure brand and message consistency.
Set up programs and reporting inside Pardot marketing automation system, track analytics of all campaigns and prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for Executive leaders and Board Members.
Requirements & Preferred Skills
Bachelor degree in marketing, communications or related degree
5+ years experience developing and executing demand generation and lead nurturing programs.
Experience with A/B and multivariate testing
Expert knowledge in segmentation and campaign creation that motivates audiences to move through the marketing and sales funnels
Expert working skills in various marketing technologies platforms and website analytics tools including Pardot, Hubspot, Google Analytics, Adwords, Optimizely and the like
Obsessive attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to adapt to changing business needs and willingness to grow beyond the business unit and role
Excellent people skills to interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams and partners
Travel requirement-approximately 10%
Experience meeting lower-cost CPA goals and/or experience a subscription model business is preferred, but not required
