Who we're looking for:

Starry is seeking a Marketing Manager for our New York City market. You'll be acquiring new subscribers through local marketing channels as well as marketing to our existing subscriber base. Our ideal candidate will enjoy working collaboratively with other teams, including Sales and Creative, to ensure business objectives are met.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing in New York, you will contribute to the success of our brand by driving the adoption of Starry Internet throughout New York City. Our ideal candidate is a positive self-starter who is confident, creative and well spoken.

What you'll do:

  • Manage the strategy and execution of the acquisition marketing program for the New York market

  • Optimize hyper-local marketing programs with a focus on measurable performance

  • Define objective and messaging for field marketing events, and see events through from inception to execution

  • Effectively communicate brand messaging to consumers, property managers, and stakeholders

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors to achieve acquisition results

  • Analyze and report on all marketing activity to assess effectiveness and implement best practices

  • Research and manage local partnerships that will drive new subscribers and brand recognition

  • Manage relationships with local publications, press and agencies

  • Travel throughout the market and be available to work some night and weekend events

Experience required:

  • BA or BS degree required

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in sales or event marketing

  • Performance oriented field and/or local marketing background

  • Ability to communicate effectively to business stakeholders, team and partners

  • Enthusiasm for new technology and the internet space

  • Experience with a high growth startup

The result is superior patient experience, improved health outcomes, and better financial performance.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>About The Job</strong><br></p> To support our growing business, we're looking for a Marketing Manager to work closely with our product and leadership team build the Quio brand and online presence. This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of our social channels, our blog, our website, and our push messaging (email, direct mail, etc.) in order to build awareness with medical practices and healthcare organizations. The candidate will also work with our behavioral science team to build and execute programs focused on driving enrollment and engagement in our customer’s patient population. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is a creative problem solver, thrives under pressure, enjoys fast-paced work and is motivated by success. <p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul> <li>Develop a deep understanding of our target stakeholders (medical practices and their chronic disease patients).</li> <li>Lead B2B marketing plan development and implementation for generating awareness in the medical practice market.</li> <li>Identify new opportunities to optimize B2B marketing plans.</li> <li>Manage the execution of various marketing campaigns and tactics, which may include digital marketing, collateral material for patients and healthcare providers, direct mail, and/or sponsorship initiatives.</li> <li>Responsible for tracking and reporting of ongoing results.</li> <li>Manage the company’s social media, blog and overall content strategy.</li> <li>Attend targeted medical conferences, as needed.</li> <li>Perform other special projects and duties as assigned.</li> <li>Lead B2C marketing plan development and implementation for each healthcare provider customer and their unique patient population.</li> <li>Work cross-functionally with behavioral science, product, engineering, and senior leadership teams.</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>3-5 years of B2B marketing experience, including 2+ years of hands-on experience managing non-paid organic growth channels.</li> <li>Strong creative and copywriting skills; must be able to develop content independently.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience with A/B testing and optimization on landing pages.</li> <li>Deep understanding of acquisition KPIs and complex funnels.</li> <li>Have a growth marketing/optimization mindset; deeply analytical.</li> </ul> <p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Healthcare background is a plus.</li> <li>SMB marketing experience is a plus.</li> <li>Consumer marketing experience is a plus.</li> <li>Experience in a startup strongly preferred.</li> <li>Experience working with designers and engineers.</li> <li>Experience marketing a B2C subscription product.</li> <li>Knowledge of Optimizely and/or Mixpanel.</li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>Competitive salary</p><p>100% covered employee health insurance (medical, dental and vision)</p><p>Equity (stock options)</p> Quio New York NY
