We are currently seeking highly qualified candidates for a Marketing Manager - Stag's Leap Wine Cellars, Patz & Hall and Conn Creek to join our team in Napa, CA.
This is a wonderful opportunity to further develop iconic wineries in Napa Valley and Sonoma while being a part of a dynamic and brand driven marketing team at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates.
We are looking for a strong luxury brand marketer who can work independently at our California properties, while integrating with the respective Direct to Consumer, Winemaking, and Operations Teams and staying in close collaboration with headquarter offices in Woodinville, WA. Strong preference will be given to candidates who are well versed in luxury marketing and the California wine industry. This position will report to the Director of Marketing for the Import and Luxury Estates
Your key responsibilities will include:
Brand Strategy & Plan: Ability to develop and deliver results on brand strategy. Inform brand strategy and positioning through demonstrated analytical skills, creative thinking, and effective tactical implementation based on data driven insights. Provide clear guidance to brand stakeholders. Manages the forecasting, production, pricing oversight and marketing of assigned brands throughout the product lifecycle to include the measurement of activities to determine effectiveness.
Consumer insights: Understands what drives consumer behavior and can apply that knowledge to create marketing strategies and deliver solutions that lead to the achievement of business goals.
Teamwork: Exemplifies leadership in brand planning and team building throughout the organization included but not limited to planning and execution. Collaboration, integrity, trust and respect are paramount. Keeps an open mind, includes others, shares information, creates a learning environment and fosters a culture of involvement.
Project Management: Effectively develops and executes campaign programs, individual project plans, creative briefs, and agency briefs with deadlines and KPIs
Metric driven: Understanding and tracking of key marketing metrics and return on investment of marketing spend and programming.
Drives creativity, advocacy and inclusion and focuses organization on key strategies.
Drives results with brand team and cross functional teams through high engagement, collaboration, constructive coaching, and accountability of oneself and team.
Corporate stewardship: Possesses a wholistic understanding of the corporate goals and major brand plans across the department.
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required in business or marketing; Graduate level preferred or equivalent demonstrated experience with proven results.
5 to 7 years' experience in marketing.
Integrated marketing experience and expertise, including digital engagement.
Demonstrated experience and results with consumer testing and consumer targeted campaigns.
Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time - specifically 1 week per month at headquarter offices in Woodinville, WA in additional to other domestic travel as needed.
Proven cross-functional team integration and ability to leverage other people resources to make a big impact.
Highly valued, but not required: Experience working in the wine industry and understanding of 3-tier alcohol system
History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.
