Marketing Manager - Pursuits

What You'll Do

• Oversee subsidiary pursuits team, including prioritizing efforts, writing and reviewing key sections of proposals and facilitating interview preparation and delivery

• Develop and refine winning strategies and themes, compelling messages, and persuasive benefit/differentiator pairs to best demonstrate knowledge, capabilities, and services

• Review RFPs to determine alignment with local office and company goals and objectives

• Establish, implement, and facilitate strategic proposal marketing materials locally, regionally, and nationally

• Apply experience and best practices in proposal team management

• Lead consistent interaction with staff throughout company to support and implement marketing strategy

• Act as subsidiary POC and present marketing initiatives to leadership

• May act as subject matter expert and/or lead company-wide initiatives on assigned service lines or markets

• Oversee production of standard and customized proposal marketing materials for cohesive branding efforts

• Follow up on pending submittals to determine wins and losses

• Facilitate presentations for both prime and teaming opportunities

• Utilize dashboards and reports to aid in load leveling within the department

• Manage and oversee junior and mid-level marketing members

• Mentor and engage in regular performance feedback for junior and mid-level marketing members

• Translate strategic marketing initiatives into actionable items for junior and mid-level marketing members

• Collaborate with marketing team to continually improve marketing processes and procedures

• Collaborate with marketing team on special projects

• Identify and track strategic pursuits

• Assist with staffing initiatives

• Lead branding best practices

• Facilitate lessons learned and actions to improve process efficiency

• Track trends and monitor marketing metrics

• Participate in professional development activities

What We're Looking For

• BS in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or similar required

• 6 years of proposal management experience required, experience in marketing in the fields of architecture, engineering, and/or construction preferred

• Proposal management experience within the public sector preferred
