Who you are:
You're a bright and self-motivated marketing professional with excellent communication and collaboration skills who will play a critical role in driving the success of Dataminr's Public Sector business.
Your primary responsibility involves utilizing events (proprietary and third party) as a strategic lever for key account acquisition, retention, and expansion. In addition to strategic event management, you possess strong collaboration skills and will work closely with sales and product teams to support our content development and execution for our fast growing Public Sector vertical.

Leverage events as a strategic tool for driving business objectives against key accounts
Identify, coordinate, execute, and track / measure critical third-party and proprietary events globally including, but not limited to:
Selecting relevant events
Managing vendors and event staff
Spearheading client communications and meetings
Working on Sales participation/process
Preparing booth materials including on site visual presence, collateral and giveaways
Creating event campaigns on Salesforce and input leads into marketing CRM
Reporting on results
Utilize superior project management skills to ensure seamless execution before, during, and after critical third-party and proprietary events
Drive metrics and measurement
Audit calendar of currently-planned events against strategic criteria to determine audience fit; identify potential new event opportunities against strategic criteria and vertical marketing plans to ensure Dataminr is present at the right conferences in the right locations
Work closely with the Director to create, update and maintain related sales assets such as decks, case studies, website content, and tutorial videos to drive client engagement
Act as primary marketing content development contact for the Public Sector sales team
Attend weekly sales and marketing meetings, providing updates and status reports when appropriate
Desired Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in related field
3-5 years of experience in a related role managing events for a B2B entity and/or event production agency experience
Superior attention to detail and organizational skills, especially around time-sensitive activities on a global basis
Exceptional time management and problem solving skills
Strong writing, editing and communication skills
Experience bringing messaging to life in marketing communications
Agile and flexible with the ability to prioritize competing projects; Ability to maintain composure under pressure and juggle multiple and competing priorities
Experience working with Google productivity tools, including Docs, Spreadsheets, Gmail, and Calendar and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with CRM and Marketing Automation Tools (Pardot and Salesforce specific experience a plus)
Understanding of best practices when working with brand guidelines
