The B2B Marketing Manager will report to the Director of B2B Marketing for our professional hosting team and be based in San Francisco. S/he will be responsible for developing the product marketing strategy and go to market plans for a new set of product offerings for the real estate industry. This person will be responsible for marketing across the funnel, from identifying target personas and building awareness and consideration, to developing marketing content, sales enablement to drive demand and conversion.
This person will collaborate cross functionally with a number internal teams as well as external agencies and freelancers to achieve the marketing objectives. Success in this role is defined by helping to build awareness and demand for our new offerings resulting in adoption of our real estate offerings. The ideal candidate will have a background in B2B product marketing and campaign design and be able to design, execute and communicate a focused marketing strategy that delivers significant impact to the business.
Develop the overall marketing strategy and go to market plan for the real estate segment
Partner with research teams to gather data and insight about target personas, buyer needs and the purchasing decision process
Leverage market and buyer insights to develop product positioning, value propositions and messaging that resonates with the target personas
Develop and execute all marketing programs and campaigns including tactics such as events, web, PR and social
Develop sales enablement materials using data driven insights to inform where to focus to improve volume and velocity in the funnel
Manage launch planning and orchestrate product releases
Develop customer references, testimonials and case studies for external and internal use
Foster best-in-class, highly productive partnerships with creative and/or social agencies
Manage analytics and reporting for campaigns through close partnership with our data science team
Passion for Airbnb & travel. Experience hosting on the site is a huge plus
8+ years experience in B2B marketing with preference for at least 2 years in product marketing and at least 2 years in the real estate industry
Passion for creative excellence in storytelling through multiple media types, both visual and written
Experience in integrated B2B marketing campaign development and execution including tactics such as events, email marketing, and web
Experience with full customer lifecycle marketing from top of funnel through customer success efforts preferred
Understanding of campaign measurement & analytics including the ability to analyze information collected from win/loss interviews and pipeline analysis to detect opportunities to optimize the marketing and sales funnel
Ability to manage external agencies as well as internal cross-functional partners
Excellent written and oral communication, a keen visual sense and attention to detail and a quick wit
Ability to work within tight deadlines, adjust to changes in priorities, and balance short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives
Natural collaboration and bridge-building skills
Empathetic to buyers, customers, users and sales resources
