Theprimary purpose of this role is the creation and management of all physicianeducation and engagement initiatives, such as speaker's bureau programs andsymposia, as well as development of strategy for continued presence inscientific forums such as on the podium and in publications. Working closelywith sales and marketing team members, this role has both strategic andtactical responsibility for supporting the achievement of the organization'scommercial objectives.
MAJORDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive awarenessand continued enthusiasm for products and company via incorporating tailoredmessaging into physician education and engagement programs
Develop andimplement physician engagement initiatives by analyzing physician educationneeds, performing market segmentation, and partnering with the commercial teamto develop and execute peer-to-peer education events.
Create and refineeducational/training programs for physician customers that incorporate liveeducation events, web based events, corporate visits, publications, casestudies & testimonials, etc.
Develop andmanage the XENT Speaker's Bureau, which includes identifying regional Key OpinionLeaders, developing presentation materials, training physician speakers andsupporting the sales team to execute speaking events.
Plan and executein-house visits and VIP events in partnership with the commercial sales andmarketing teams.
Partner with theclinical affairs and product marketing teams to ensure we are communicating themost relevant clinical information in our educational programs and from thepodium to enhance brand and product awareness
Attend andsupport company activities at relevant scientific and technical meetings andconferences
Develop andimplement procedures, files, records, and follow-up systems to ensure marketingprocesses are managed in a well-organized and timely manner.
Lead and manageassigned personnel within the Physician Education and Engagement team.Implement effective coaching techniques to maximize productivity.
Minimum 5 years'of specialized experience in healthcare marketing, marketing programmanagement, physician training, clinical education, or combination with sales.Must include experience with speaker's bureau programs.
Experience inmedical device marketing is required, preferably in a high-growth companyenvironment. A combination of marketingand sales experience is ideal.
Proven capabilityto develop and manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in the physiciancommunity.
Excellentpresentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability toanalyze and communicate clinical study designs and results, including basicknowledge of biostatistics. Proficiency in clinical literature search desired.
Proven ability tosuccessfully manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment with a sense ofurgency.
Willingness to"roll up sleeves" to perform at all levels and assist in areas outside of coreresponsibilities.
Strong strategicthinking and analytical skills.
Demonstrate ahigh level of attention to detail and exhibit initiative.
Position requiresdomestic travel on average of 30% of thetime.
