As Marketing Manager, Offline Channels (TV, Radio, Print & Direct Mail) & Spanish / Hispanic Markets you will be both the marketing channel owner for all Offline Channels (Direct Mail, TV, Radio, Print), as well as, the segment owner for Spanish language marketing. This position reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer due to its importance to overall company strategy. Offline Channels represent one of the largest portions of our marketing spend and are some of our fastest growing channels.
Across all Offline Channels, the position will be responsible for:
Developing and executing marketing strategies to drive both acquisition of new customers, repeat purchasing by previous customers and retention of existing customers
Optimizing the performance of each channel and individual tactics within each channel through rigorous and disciplined testing, KPI measurement and analysis
Efficiently managing/allocating the marketing budget across all channels to optimize ROI
Overseeing a highly sophisticated Direct Mail program that uses a wide range of different statistical modeling/segmentation methods to send highly targeted mail to many different audiences (bureau-based new customer acquisition, customer win-back, online-to-offline targeting, repeat customers, customer retention)
Optimizing station/publication selection, media buying and messaging across TV, Radio & Print
Managing marketing vendor, ad agency and partner relationships
Creating campaign framework and creative briefs for on-site design team and ad agencies to develop new collateral
Providing input on sales strategies and operational processes, as they relate to target markets and product/process enhancements
Across all company-wide Spanish / Hispanic marketing efforts, the position will be responsible for:
Representing the "Voice of the Customer" by developing an intimate understanding of the mindset, needs and perspective of the Spanish / Hispanic segment
Developing the overall marketing and creative strategy for Spanish / Hispanic segment
Serving as champion for Spanish / Hispanic marketing efforts across all channels by partnering with other channel managers (Digital, Partnerships, etc.) to ensure that all Spanish / Hispanic marketing is consistent and effective across all the company's efforts
YOU WILL BRING...
6-8+ years' work experience
5-6+ years' experience in marketing, brand management
Broad and deep experience in all aspects of Direct Mail marketing (creative development, testing, modeling & analytics)
Experience in mass media messaging, campaign planning and agency management
Experience in Spanish language / Hispanic marketing
Excellent attention to detail, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Highly analytical with comfort rolling up sleeves to perform quantitative analysis
Highly proficient in Excel and basic SQL preferred
Strong sense of brand and editorial voice; the ability to harmonize message across multiple channels and marketing vehicles
Subprime, consumer-finance experience highly desired
Top-tier MBA preferred
