Summary Under the direction of the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our industrial automation solutions. This includes overseeing the marketing team, leading marketing initiatives and setting up programs to help support the growth and expansion of MWES products and services.
This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in B2B marketing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to analyze market trends and customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a proven track record of successful marketing campaigns. Essential Duties and Responsibilities This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Create and execute marketing plans to achieve company objectives and increase brand awareness. Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
Identify target markets and develop strategies to reach key audiences. Lead Generation and Campaign Management: Design and implement lead generation campaigns across multiple channels, including digital marketing, email marketing, social media, and industry events.
Monitor and analyze campaign performance, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize ROI. Content Creation and Management: Develop compelling content for various marketing channels, including website, blogs, whitepapers, case studies, and social media.
Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to produce high-quality marketing materials. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
Analyze customer insights and feedback to refine marketing strategies and improve customer engagement. Brand Management: Maintain and enhance the company’s brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging across all marketing channels.
Develop and manage brand guidelines to ensure cohesive and professional representation of the company. Collaboration and Team Leadership: Work closely with sales, product development, and customer service teams to align marketing strategies with business goals.
Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Event Planning and Management: Plan and execute company participation in industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
Coordinate logistics, promotional materials, and post-event follow-up to maximize event impact. Supervisory Responsibilities: Assists with recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department.
Oversees the daily workflow of the department. Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations, including discipline discussions and termination of employees in accordance with company policy. Education/Experience Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. 5 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in the industrial automation or technology sector.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns. Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, SEM, and content marketing. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in marketing automation tools and CRM software. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Skills and Special Requirements: Must have excellent attention to detail, be organized, and able to maintain deadlines and schedules for multiple projects and activities Self-starter, fast learner, who can work with little supervision Requires a general knowledge or interest in the technical products and services offered by MWES, and the ability to gather information from multiple sources to prepare marketing materials.
