Marketing Manager, Marshalls

We are looking for a motivated, experienced, self-starter to join our Brand Marketing team as a Marketing Manager. At Marshalls we pride ourselves in having a fresh array of fashionable and brand name apparel, home furnishing and more. You'll learn what makes Marshalls a leader in the off-price retail space. With over 1,000 stores and growing, it's a great time to join our Brand Marketing team, supporting Marshalls.

The Marketing Manager will be working on the team responsible for building national brand awareness and consideration that will position Marshalls for future growth. The role will be responsible for the development of a variety of programs within the Marshalls multi-channel marketing strategy including: paid digital, paid social, and media integrations/partnerships.

Who We Are Looking For: You.

  • Assist in leading and communicating the brand strategy and the development of ongoing marketing plans to shift perceptions of Marshalls and support business goals.

  • Responsible for strategic oversight of day-to-day planning and execution of paid digital and social initiatives to drive brand goals.

  • Oversee social strategy and development of paid digital content calendar, lead creative rotation recommendations and optimizations based on media learnings, consumer insights and creative performance.

  • Drive the management and execution of brand activations and digital partnerships by working with agency partners and brand specialist.

  • Provide strategic oversight of content development and support the Marketing Specialist in reviews of all creative content to ensure a consistent voice in alignment with Marshalls brand guidelines, visual identity, and messaging themes.

  • Proactively collaborate and communicate effectively across cross-functional business teams, including Agency and internal creative partners, Brand Teams, Consumer Insights, Digital Marketing and Media, to drive the business and deliver on brand goals.

  • Assist in the management of agency and 3rd party partners as needed to develop marketing campaigns and content.

  • Oversee the Marketing Specialist and/or Supervisor on relevant budgets and support on overall budget management.

  • People Management

  • Oversee the Marketing Specialist in their day-to-day activities and coach them on performance and professional development.

  • Attract, assess, retain, and develop talent by creating an environment that provides direction, continuous learning and development, and commitment to common vision and shared values.

Qualifications

  • 6-8 years of ad agency or client-side Advertising/Marketing experience

  • Agency and/or retail experience is preferred

  • Multi-channel, integrated thinker who can connect the dots between objectives & channels

  • Strong organization, presentation and writing skills

  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to problem solve and work in the grey

  • Thrive on working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

This position has a starting salary range of $90,200 to $115,200 per year.

Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

This position is eligible for an annual incentive.
