Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or Marketing
4 or more years of marketing or other related experience. Demonstrates strong leadership in strategic and conceptual development of messages and writing persuasive and compelling copy. Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong business writing skills.

Maintains an extensive knowledge of distinct writing styles including AP style

Can write for both long and short formats; print, web and social media.

Can proofread materials for accuracy, correct use of grammar, punctuation and content. Ensures all documents and materials meet established content standards.

Manages development, strategy and utilization of Expert commercial content. This includes writing and editing commercial content; execution of content placement to maximize awareness and sales; coordinating with the sales and marketing teams to anticipate future commercial needs to maintain and increase share. Content to be utilized across multiple mediums and industries.

Key Job Activities:

Content generation for internal and external commercial pieces utilizing multiple mediums and targeted at varying audiences. Including but not limited to collateral, presentations, customer and employee letters.

Develops strategic content plan in conjunction with the sales and marketing teams to align with sales and awareness goals.

Interacts with external parties to enhance content offering, develop strategic approaches and continually refresh content mediums. Daily media monitoring of industry news and trends to drive relevant content topics and theme ideas.

Ongoing creation of thought leadership content to support digital awareness efforts including weekly blog writing and social media posts, website copy and short papers. Content support for PR initiatives including Quarterly Recall Index report.

Strategic content generation to support industry meetings and tradeshow events including session proposals, company descriptions and promotional materials.

Develops professional business communications and messaging to support robust customer and prospect communications program (TPM) to build awareness and achieve top of mind status with key contacts.

Digital Content Ops Manager (Marketing Email Builder) Location: Any Anthem office. Indianapolis, IN or Mason, OH strongly preferred. Primary duties to include, but are not limited to: * <li>Develops email and SMS campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud * Create UX/ UI within brand standards leveraging strong developer language knowledge, including HTML, Javascript, and MSQL * Oversees the digital content change process. * Drives improvements in change, incident, and request management processes. * Acts as the client support advocate, leads operational staff to meet defined SLAs, set priorities and drive team members to deliver projects within defined timelines. * Establishes the customer relationship management best practices employed by the digital content operations team. * Contributes to the digital content excellence and identifies training needs for skill building. * May serve as a lead role and have dotted line resource accountability. Requires a BA/BS degree; 5+ years experience working in digital content operations in complex, regulated industries, or combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Prior B2C or direct to consumer experience in digital is preferred in combination with communications or a marketing background. Additional Job Description Details: Responsible for assisting the Digital Marketing Project Managers with day to day development of email and sms executions. * Competencies required: Salesforce Marketing Cloud, AMPscripting, Email Development * Fluent in working in a-fast paced environment, managing multiple projects. * Ability to understand content matrix excel spreadsheets and build out variable data points within email. * Adept and able to work in a fortune 40 organization. i.e., process, protocol, procedure, accountability. Preferred skills: * Expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud coding, including AMPscripting. SMC certification preferred. * Waterfall and Agile workflow experience, strong emphasis with agile understanding and knowledge.
