DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic Marketing: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to differentiate HOTEL DU PONT from competition, enhance visibility and expand market share.

  • Brand Management: Maintain consistency in branding across all internal and external communications.

  • Content Champion: Collaborate with the marketing team to create high-quality content that promotes the hotel's services, special offers, food & beverage outlets and events. A key component of this role involves producing photography and videography assets for use on social media platforms. Oversee and coordinate influencer/media visits.

  • Digital Marketing: Oversee the content management system (CMS) for the hotel website as well as property listings on third-party websites, ensuring precision and consistent brand voice across all copy, photo assets, packages, experiences, and pricing.

  • Sales Collateral & Tactical Promotions: Manage the design and execution of dynamic and high-quality marketing design elements including digital and print ads, sales collateral, signage and more.

  • Reporting & Analysis: Pulls ad-hoc reports requested by Sales team and hotel leadership. Provides analysis to Director of Marketing where necessary to support the development of the annual business plan and on-going measurements.

  • Special Projects: Performs special projects and other responsibilities as assigned and participates in task forces, committees, and cluster groups as requested. Participates where appropriate in related trade/business functions, events, conferences, and workshops

  • Experience Coordination- Point person for our ongoing experience events. Works with Area Marketing Manager, DOSM, MD and PR agency from concept to day of execution of the events.

  • VIP Guest Stays: Assist the Director of Sales, Director of Rooms, and Managing Director in the coordination and execution of VIP and high-sensitivity guest stays, including all corporate, individuals as well as all other designated dignitaries.

  • F+B eCommerce: Executes eCommerce campaigns to support the F+B outlets' strategic marketing plans while working within the established budgets. Create and execute promotional email calendar for each outlet. Develop and manage social media campaigns including content calendar, content creation/posts, and growth and engagement metric reporting. Tracks and analyzes success of marketing campaigns and works with the Director of Marketing and Director of F+B to adjust marketing strategies/budgets where needed based on performance metrics, growth, and analysis

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Administrative knowledge of Meta Business Suite and social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, etc. Photography and video editing skills are a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Business Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Proficiency in Google Analytics.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.

  • 3+ years of marketing experience in hospitality or similar industry.

  • Must be able to provide examples of previous work.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting.

  • Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.

  • Ability to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist.

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight 50 lbs.

  • Ability to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard.

  • Ability to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation.

  • Ability to verbally communicate to exchange information.

  • Engaging in repetitive movements of wrists, hands, and fingers - typing and/or writing.

  • Working frequently at close visual range (i.e. preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcription, computer terminal, extensive reading).
