  • This individual will be responsible for building cohesive marketing strategies including effective digital marketing campaigns, direct mail, email marketing, webinars, live events, & more.

How will you get here?

Bachelor's degree

  • 2-4 years of work experience in B2B marketing, business operations, healthcare consultancy, or similar experience is preferred

  • Working knowledge of the lab diagnostics industry, health system organizations, or regulated environments is preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • You have commercial experience and success in a B2B or consultancy environment. This role is about defining a market and our key messages and helping a sales team to execute on that message. You need to have walked a mile in a sales person's shoes either directly or indirectly (marketing, consultancy) in the B2B world. Demonstrated success is also important. This is not a strategy-only position. You need to be committed to making this strategy work at the rep level and executing the tactics necessary for that success. This will include project management.

  • You have a knack for making complex things easy to understand. This is a combination of outstanding analytical skills and shining ability to communicate. You need to be able to take a mountain of data, opinion and knowledge and distill it into a simple, actionable strategy.

  • You must have exceptional relationship building skills. You need to have good people skills to ensure that you build a rapport with the team. Collaboration and engagement are key in this role as you are working on multiple projects across the department and organization. We are not looking for a sit-at-your-desk-and-work-on-your-own type of approach. Everything that you do will touch multiple departments and our digital properties.

  • You thrive in dynamic environments and deal well with ambiguity. Our commercial world is fast-paced. This role will require you to excel at the tasks directly in front of you, while also keeping your eye on the big picture. If you are expecting your boss to give a task list, this is not the job for you. You need to consistently asking be 'how can I make this better?'.

  • You are smart and learn quickly. We do science and medicine here. It's cool if you don't have any experience in biotech but you will need to learn our business and some of the details will be technical. You must have the smarts and willingness to get up to speed quickly. While it might seem not that important, having a knowledge of our product and goals will only make your impact stronger.

  • You are a good teammate. We are better when we have super talented people working together. We each have unique expertise and ideas that support our goals. This role is no different. We like working together and our team dynamic is important to us because it means that we have fun.
