Established in 2017, LingoAce is a Singapore-headquartered global education technology company and leading Mandarin Chinese language learning platform, offering an immersive language learning experience tailored to meet the needs of learners aged three to 15 years old, across a range of language proficiency levels and diverse cultural backgrounds. A committed partner to both young learners and their parents, LingoAce harnesses the capabilities of research-backed digital content, certified Chinese language teachers, featuring animation, gamification and AI, to effectively deliver authentic and interactive online Chinese language lessons.

With a team of more than 1,300 LingoAcers, 4,000 certified teachers currently, and offices in the U.S., Southeast Asia and China, LingoAce serves students across 100 countries and regions. The Role

With our success across the globe, we are now set on building a premium US growth marketing team to focus on the US market. This is a chance to build and promote a next-gen learning product with the backing of a multinational corporation and strong capital support while maintaining the innovative culture of a Bay Area startup.

As Content Marketing Lead founding members of our US Growth Marketing team,

You Will:

  • Lead the creation and development of compelling content strategy that achieves desired goals across our marketing channels including paid, social media marketing, email marketing and more
  • Be a thought leader who can further the marketing team's creativity and shape the future of LingoAce on social platforms by identifying and acting on opportunities to experiment on platforms while prioritizing business needs
  • Build and lead a team of content marketing professionals
  • Always put our Learners first. Strategize and coordinate cross-functionally to define project scopes and deliver work that meets LingoAces quality standards
  • Set goals and benchmarks for social platform performance. Lead the prioritization, budgeting, and resourcing of our content investments that serve our business needs
  • Identify process and tooling improvement opportunities, and work with the team to implement them
  • Partner with leaders across the organization to develop unique, relevant, and valuable content tailored to different target audience groups
  • Manage agency partners and content developers
  • Stay on top of content trends and experiment with new ways to deepen audience engagement with our brand

You Have:

  • Minimum 7 years experience in content marketing, brand, strategy, or other related area
  • Outstanding written communication skills, both in terms of internal-facing communications (e.g., presentations, one-pagers, etc.) and external-facing communications (e.g., social media posts, ad copy, website copy, etc.).
  • People management skills. Experience hiring and/or managing a team of content marketing professionals, and/or agency/contractors
  • Experience as an independent contributor who can define strategy and execute with the ability to influence at all levels of an organization, and who can scale workload using technology
  • Experience managing budgets, working with various teams, and creative/production agencies
  • Excellent brand strategy, project management, storytelling, and leadership skills
  • Ability to deliver quality outcomes on deadlines in an often ambiguous and fast-paced environment
  • A proven track record to create and implement detailed plans accounting for ambiguity, dependencies, and technical complexity in an agile environment
  • Knowledge and interest in video production, content marketing platforms, and SEO
  • (Bonus) EdTech marketing and/or product experience
  • (Bonus) Previous experience within a high-growth startup helping build out marketing program and campaigns
  • (Bonus) Knowledge and/or interests of bilingual / multilingual communities
