  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline required; PhD preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Strong, hands-on experience in clinical and medical device LC/MS triple quadrupole to drive hardware design and development; strong familiarity with LC/MS data acquisition and quantitation software to support software-oriented user needs and system requirements.

  • Experience and knowledge of developing medical device products within ISO 13485 and/or 21 CFR 820 regulated environments is preferred.

  • Experienced in business & market development with sales and driving collaborations with thought leaders related to clinical LC/MS business

  • Experience building appropriate supporting documentation for 510k submissions is preferred.

  • 5+ years of management experience, especially leading complex teams including experienced product managers and other marketing team members.

  • Demonstrated experience in integration of cross-functional teams to drive complex goals and programs

Skills and abilities:

  • Clear organizational capabilities to problem solve and manage complex parallel programs,

  • Strong interpersonal skills including communication, collaboration and negotiation capabilities

  • Must be a positive, energetic team player, and an advocate for product quality and excellence

As part of the Clinical Mass Spec Business leadership team, you will collaborate on this exciting program to develop and execute on medical device Mass Spec strategy for Agilent and to drive market share, growth and leadership in key clinical diagnostic applications. The global clinical marketing manager will work closely with a large cross functional team to register and launch products in critical regions worldwide and commercialize Mass Spec medical device platforms in a compliant manner, while maintaining Agilent's brand recognition with this key customer base.

The successful candidate has experience in clinical LC/MS triple quadrupole hardware and software, and has experience with developing and commercializing clinical IVD globally. The Clinical Marketing Manager will lead the clinical product management team and collaborate with cross-functional teams, which include hardware and software R&D, manufacturing, service, sales, and quality. He/she will articulate and quantify customer needs and requirements, and participate with cross functional groups to develop and commercialize validated technical solutions that address those needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • In close coordination with broad, cross-functional team, develop and execute clinical Mass Spec roadmap--with consideration for regional medical device registration--that aligns with Agilent's Diagnostics vision

  • Drive business development opportunities in close collaboration with corporate business development and business leadership team to expand or enhance Agilent's clinical mass spec offerings

  • Work closely with the clinical R&D manager, as well as quality and regulatory teams to execute on the Clinical Mass Spec roadmap in a manner that meets regulatory compliance, while addressing critical customer requirements in the clinical customer base

  • Lead team to a successful commercialization and launch of Agilent's Clinical Mass Spec products in close collaboration with regional sales, product, field & segment marketing and instrument services organization

  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the clinical application, competitive insights and potential of Agilent's Mass Spec technologies to drive VOC into product development, marketing and commercialization programs

  • Cultivate collaborative relationships with current and future thought leaders in academic and clinical labs at the local, regional, national, and international level

  • Develop foundational data for clinical and scientific marketing/product material including promotional pieces, technical sales aids, etc. in close collaboration with product, segment marketing, legal, and regulatory, Provide clinical and customer input to field and sales teams as it relates to the use of our products and positioning with key customer groups

You will be responsible for identifying and driving opportunities to improve the user experience via qualitative and quantitative testing on; all while thinking outside of the box and pushing the limits of what's possible. You should be comfortable wearing your User Experience hat to identify design gaps and determine testable solutions to close those gaps. Related to that, our team is always be striving to improve the user experience, optimize for search, and increase the findability of key products and solutions. Ideally, you will also have gaming industry experience. Analyzing visitor behavior and site performance, designing/executing effective and measurable tests, and determining concrete actions should be second nature for you. After tests have been run, it is critical that you are comfortable writing up results and influencing partners to support your data driven recommendations. What we will be doing: * Developing and owning end-to-end website testing strategy and manage roadmap of tests (both qualitative and quantitative) * Writing clear and concise test documents and test plans * Translating insights into clear direction to both technical and non-technical partners * Identifying design problems and recommend elegant solutions * Informing strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new functions/features * Building partnership with the web analytics team, monitor KPIs to look for testing opportunities and actionable insights * Take smart risks and champion creative ideas What we need to see: * 8+ years of meaningful work experience; some of which would be in the gaming industry plus Bachelor's Degree * Superb communication, presentation, & project management skills * Have owned an A/B and multivariate web testing program * Familiarity with qualitative testing methodologies and ideally an expert in using or similar service * Understanding of industry standard methodologies around UX testing and optimization * Expertise with setting up tests in Adobe Target and/or other best in class A/B and Multivariate testing tools * Expert level in web analytics and proficiency in tools such as Adobe Analytics * Experience with flow analysis, click mapping, and data mapping * Understand how to build easy to read yet insightful testing dashboards * A solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies, subsystems, and usability and accessibility concerns * Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients Ways to stand out from the crowd: * Expertise with enterprise level web personalization standard methodologies * Have your finger on the pulse of the gaming community NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world's most desirable employers.
