The Manager, Marketing is responsible for planning, development and implementation of FreightQuote by C.H. Robinson's marketing strategies and initiatives to deliver upon divisional objectives set by leadership. In this role, you will work closely with the FreightQuote leadership team as well as the corporate marketing team to manage a wide variety of marketing projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate has experience in email automation and/or digital marketing; the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders and strong project management skills to drive initiatives through to fruition.

This position is located in the Kansas City Regional Center at: 901 West Carondelet Drive, Kansas City, MO 64114.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality, strategically sound, and thoroughly planned marketing campaigns with measurable sales impact that reflect business needs and acumen.

  • Plan and execute a variety of marketing initiatives such as key messaging development, content creation, service line marketing, email campaigns and events with measurable sales impact.

  • Perform overall project management for client marketing including writing project briefs and scopes, communicating with a variety of audiences, setting/meeting deadlines and timelines and executing on deliverables.

  • Establish and measure project performance and ROI through reporting on project updates, status, completion, and ongoing sales success to internal stakeholders.

  • Create a strategy for the public website including: improvements in design, content and user experience, programs to increase traffic and content consumption on the site to drive quote activity.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote efficient processes, effective execution, and client satisfaction.

  • Hire, train, develop and monitor work of direct report. Actively encourage growth and career development and provide frequent performance feedback.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing or a related field

  • Minimum of 5 years' strategic marketing, digital marketing, brand management and/or communication experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree

  • People leadership experience

  • Knowledgeable about marketing mediums including direct, digital, social medial and other traditional marketing channels

  • Researches and identifies media trends and adjusts marketing plans as needed

  • Comfortable in a dynamic, fast paced environment

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Detail oriented and ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Passion for improvement and strong desire to drive organizational growth
