We are not seeking a strictly marcom person, but a marketing professional who can use sophisticated marketing tools to automate and streamline a complex pipeline process with a six month average life cycle.


Lead generation and lead follow-up for select markets using digital tools and personal outreach

Managing the outside agency on digital lead generation

Managing the pipeline process for key Market (industry) campaigns

Consulting with niche areas to develop new solutions to drive incremental revenue through a disciplined pipeline process

Manage and execute the lost proposal process

Management and ownership of Salesforce

Budget maintain marketing budget

Supervision of Marketing Coordinator and Asst. Marketing Manager who execute many of the aforementioned marketing tactics

Digital campaignsincluding email campaigns; split run testing; metrics reporting and constant improvement of results based on accumulated insights that result in leads

Website site maintenance, SEO

Events planning and execution of firm events

Content & Thought Leadership writing sell sheets, ghostwriting articles, blogs, website content, etc.

Proposals oversee/assist with proposals using existing formats

Supervision of external agency/design teams


Demonstrated success in a B2B lead generation discipline

Sales background or experience collaborating with sales teams as a marketing professional

Direct experience with CRM and email campaign software and reporting

Digital campaign experience

SEO and CMS experience and insights

Ability to multi-task

Proactive and high-energy
7+ years of experience

Bachelors Degree in Communications or Marketing discipline

VIEW JOBS 11/6/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-04T00:00 SUMMARY The role of the India Field Marketing Manager is to lead the field go-to-market and pipeline generation efforts for ANSYS, Inc. throughout the India and ASEAN sales region. This position is responsible for aligning with direct and channel sales leadership, developing strategies and plans to meet pipeline goals, leading the India field marketing teams, and working closely with the global marketing leadership to align go-to-market plans with key objectives, messages, and campaigns. In addition, the Field Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of strategic marketing plan /initiatives and works closely with other regional field marketing manager, key program stakeholders including product marketing managers, industry marketing managers, product managers, support teams and ANSYS regional sales teams. A primary objective of the role is to create strategic marketing plans and oversee creation, delivery, execution of demand generation programs through successful campaign execution and understanding of key industry trends, strategic market opportunities and sales priorities. RESPONSIBILITIES * Create a highly impactful viral marketing organization driven by social and other digital marketing tactics for ANSYS simulation products * Work with the corporate marketing team and sale management to build a strong marketing plan with in region, in order to support the planned business growth * Drive marketing automation expertise with in the region, with emphasis on lead nurturing, lead scoring, lead database management and sales enablement * Drive closed loop sales and marketing process by managing regional lead operations to ensure quality lead flow, optimize lead follow-up and data quality for reporting * Provide senior sales and marketing management with analysis for marketing investments, pipeline impact and goal setting * Drive ANSYS brand and PR initiatives across India/ASEAN, in collaboration with the corporate Marketing Communications team and field marketing managers * Lead a team of high-performing individual contributors to consistently deliver on key priorities MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's degree required (An MBA or other advanced degree is a plus) * 6-10 years of experience in marketing management * Proven ability to work closely and successfully with a sales organization * Proven ability to successfully execute a variety of marketing programs, including targeted direct mail and email, field events, social media, executive engagements, awareness campaigns * Experience with marketing automation systems to successfully run campaigns * Ability to work very independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams * Strong analytics, reporting, and written communication skills * Rigorous attention to detail and focus on quality of deliverables PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Experience in B2B and B2C demand generation environment preferred * Ability to travel up to 25% CULTURE AND VALUES Culture and values are incredibly important to ANSYS.
