The Marketing Manager will play a key role in the marketing department, responsible for executing strategic programming for the department and the individual retailers that it serves. These areas will include daily digital programming, event planning and execution, and information gathering and reporting. Operating at the center of the department and a core individual with retailers, this individual must have extraordinary presentation, communication, and organization skills while managing multiple programs and tasks within each on a daily basis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Content Curation - storyline development, information gathering, development of content, copywriting direction and ensuring accuracy across all content development.

  • Social Media Platforms - executing strategic direction, content development and coordination, overseeing, monitoring, etc.

  • Events - developing and overseeing majority of programming including calendar development, special events, wellness programs, seasonal events, signature events, ongoing community events. Including but not limited to coordination of all approvals, agreements and required documentation, internal approvals on design, location, timeline, etc., setups, daily management, onsite and post-event results, etc.

  • Influencer Programs - retailer incorporation/participation, developing storylines, coordination of processes and development.

  • Community Outreach - maintain community partnerships with various entities/companies in the community for philanthropy and programming.

  • Retailer communication - ongoing communication with retailers and corporate marketing teams to facilitate programming and digital communications.

  • Develop and create customized presentations that are in line with current standards

  • Research and analyze monthly sales information for review and presentation to marketing department

  • Effectively communicate with management and marketing team on programs, partners, in-mall activations and media space, documentation required

  • Create and submit weekly updates

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


  • Bachelor's degree required

  • 3-5 years of experience in a marketing, communications, social media and event management.

  • Successful history of developing managing and executing events and social media content in synchronicity and multiplicity

  • Highly organized, expedient, timely and detail oriented

  • Full Microsoft Office skills - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook (Microsoft Dynamics or CRM skills a plus)

  • Ability to formulate successful presentations/platforms and secure information in a fast paced environment.

  • Knowledge of social media and digital platforms

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills

  • Self-motivated with strong organizational, planning and time management skills

  • Positive professional approach with a strong emphasis on excellent customer satisfaction and a desire to contribute to a successful team

  • Computer literate in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Photoshop preferred

  • Ability to develop read and interpret documents such as, budget spreadsheets, project timelines, legal agreements, certificates of insurance, etc.
