Marketing Manager (Architectural Firm) DWL Architects is seeking a Marketing Manager.
The ideal candidate is a team player, highly motivated, forward thinking, and organized with demonstrated proficiency in creating and streamlining marketing and business development processes.
Education and Qualifications 5+ years of marketing experience in A/E/C industry is required BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or another related field Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and writing/editing skills Experience managing direct reports Experience with Cosential or other CRM software a plus Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite is required Ability to prioritize, follow through effectively and perform under tight deadlines Experience with developing market strategies Develop new materials to support business development activities Responsibilities Providing marketing leadership - Oversee, develop and manage Marketing department Oversee all aspects of proposal, presentation, awards submittals and business development support functions Manage internal strategic planning Building consensus among Management, Staff, and Clients, setting the direction and tone for future marketing efforts Track and research project opportunities and conduct client research/analysis as needed Oversee promoting and positioning the firm through written, verbal and graphic material Support Principals in maximizing firm exposure (local design and civic community events) Be a Marketing Team member and performing other duties as required Manage social media Facilitate Go/No-Go prospective project evaluation process DWL Firm Profile Over the past 69 years, DWL Architects + Planners has become one of Arizonas most respected locally-owned and operated architecture firms.

This position serves as an important role in proactively disseminating disease prevention, nutrition, and active living messages to the public, promoting Arizonans to choose healthier behaviors. The individual in this role will oversee new communications department responsibilities in social media marketing, webpage layout, and digital media. What will I be doing in this job? – Developing and executing strategic marketing plans – Collaborating with Arizona Department of Health Services divisions and programs on marketing needs and statewide public awareness initiatives for broadcast, print and social media campaigns – Coordinating with marketing firms – Drafting, editing and producing marketing materials, including brochures, graphics, videos, posters and handouts, for in-house projects – Leading the marketing team including social media/web specialist(s) and videographer(s) – Developing social media marketing plans for key projects – Creating and coordinating posts on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, Instagram and Snapchat – Organizing focus groups and conduct market research alone or in conjunction with outside firms – Representing ADHS leadership and programs in status meetings for marketing initiatives and manage marketing budgets What does this job require? − Knowledge of marketing campaign development, including creating concepts, focus groups, production, and media buys − Position must have knowledge of social media marketing techniques and best practices − Proficient in principles and techniques of marketing and communications as they relate to writing, editing, production, and distribution of publications − Must have strong interpersonal skills and skills in negotiation and management of contracts with marketing firms − Manage marketing budgets and negotiate contracts with outside advertising agencies. − Utilize knowledge of integrated marketing and brand strategies − Develop metrics to monitor the impact of marketing efforts, including social media − Manage multiple projects simultaneously, and coordinate launch of marketing campaigns with stakeholders, program managers, communications staff and the ADHS executive team − Support a diverse multi-cultural workforce that reflects the community, promotes equal opportunity at all levels of public employment, and creates an inclusive work environment that enables all individuals to perform to their fullest potential free from discrimination What are the preferred qualifications for this job: − Three or more years of experience performing marketing or communications work − Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in marketing, communications, public relations, public administration, business administration, emergency management or a related field − Experience with video production or photography is preferred − Preference will be given to candidates who are bilingual (English/Spanish) − Preference will be given to applicants with Public Health, or Emergency Management/Crisis Communication experience All Arizona State employees operate within the Arizona Management System (AMS), an intentional, results-driven approach for doing the work of state government whereby every employee reflects on performance, reduces waste, and commits to continuous improvement with sustainable progress.
