This opening will fill a key role in the companys marketing organization and be responsible for leading BU marketing activity for the company. The contributions from this role aide and advise the commercial leadership team in setting strategic direction for our business segments. This highly motivated individual will also be fully integrated into the daily management of commercial performance.

Major Activities/Key Challenges:

Lead financial and business case modeling for LTA bid packages

Interact with operating sites on cost information used for quoting

Active participant in strategic LTA renewals and quote reviews

LTA performance tracking (post agreement), including cost / margin correlation

Maintain critical engine maps, including current share condition and target products

Partner with Non-LTA SPA to drive incremental margin & policy disciplines

Identify opportunities (cost & price actions) to influence product level financials

Translate complex/large data sets into summary form for executive consumption

Marketing liason for corporate demand team on forward demand / correlative data

Lead long range sales planning process for Aerospace operations
Required:
-Bachelors Degree

  • 2 to 5 years Marketing, Sales, or Project Manager experience within an Industrial capacity

Preferred:

  • Analytical background - interpret and manipulate data

  • Aerospace experience

This senior management position will be based in Whitehall, MI and will be responsible for transforming the independent forecasting, order management, production planning, warehouse, third party and purchased services and transportation operations for Arconic Engines, into a single integrated world-class supply chain organization. The Sales and Operations Planning Manager will develop and execute a vision that delivers operational excellence, resulting in world class customer service and efficiency. The selected candidate will need to establish world-class supply chain processes, along with metrics necessary to track supply chain effectiveness, efficiency, and opportunities. The position will also need to develop a strategic sourcing process to leverage capacity, and improve reaction time to market disruptions. Some of the major role responsibilities: * Integrate the separate existing forecasting, order management, production planning, warehouse, supplier planning/third party purchases and transportation processes and associates of Arconic Engines various locations into a single supply chain serving the Business Unit. * With the support of the information systems organization - define, design, and lead the implementation of tools necessary to support the newly established supply chain organization and processes as well as driving reviews of the routers, yield, true lead time, integration of the vertical supply chain (internal or external) * Define, design and implement supply chain tools necessary to support a word-class supply chain. * Build a world-class supply chain organization through identifying, coaching and mentoring talent as part of an overall succession planning effort. * Perform strategic sourcing and capacity versus requirements studies to ensure efficient and effective deployment/utilization of resources to meet demand. * In addition to tracking and communicating progress, position will establish short-term and long-term objectives for the supply-chain organization which will enable Arconic Engines to meet or exceed its business objectives through world-class customer service and efficiency * Establish continuous improvement processes and culture to ensure that supply chain maintains world-class status. * Establish and manage meeting process that introduces a discipline of fact-based discussion and planning throughout the organization via a series of periodic meetings (status, updates, exception and change management) to lock down the consensus plan. Qualifications Basic Qualifications * Bachelors degree from an accredited university * Minimum 8 years experience in Sales and Operations Planning (demand / capacity planning) in a manufacturing environment * Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
