Description

As part of the Business Operations team, the role will manage all marketing initiatives for the North America region. The position will be main point of contact for the global Marketing team based in Singapore, as well as be the point of contact for Marketing at a regional level. With heavy emphasis on graphic design and creative customer analysis, this role will create all customer facing documents and collateral for the region.

Accountabilities

  • Executive presentation support including slide consolidation, data gathering, and graphic design

  • Ad hoc customer facing collateral design, procurement, and production

  • Customer specific presentation support for field Sales through quarterly industry updates using external print media, social media, and other online sources requiring up-to-date maintenance

  • Full event coordination, materials design, hard product sourcing, and execution

  • Manage local site for North America on apl.com website, collaborating with Nashville and Costa Rica Customer Service

  • Increase the footprint of the Business Operations by advertising the resources and products made available to APL Liner Sales

Qualifications

  • Design or Marketing related Degree

  • Minimum 5 Years of Marketing Management or Graphic Design

  • Minimum 5 years experience in Marketing

  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience with graphic design software like Adobe CS

  • Creative analytics to design digital media products

  • Hard product collateral design and vendor sourcing

  • Demonstrated ability to use information and data to drive decision making with executives

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint - with an emphasis on PowerPoint

  • Experience with SharePoint site administration

  • Web content management experience

  • Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team environment

  • Some photography will be required

  • Video editing experience

Required Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related discipline is preferred

  • Demonstrated competency in conducting Internet based searches and rapid identification of relevant information

  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience with CRM and BI-Query data extraction methods

  • Familiarity with CRM, RRW Tool, STAR and JOC data stores sources

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint - with an emphasis on Excel (Macro development skills a plus)

  • Demonstrated ability to use information technology to improve performance and decision making capability

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
