Group/Division

With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA-Tencor to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA-Tencor's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA-Tencor's metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers.

First to deliver the best imaging and classification data for every defect or point on any layer at any time.

EBeam's mission encapsulates its role as the "eyes" of KLA-Tencor's product line, providing timely information on defects and critical locations on the wafer at the highest spatial resolution possible. Customers use EBeam products alongside KLA-Tencor patterned and bare wafer inspectors to quickly understand the nature of defects and other imperfections on product wafers and take action to correct the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

In this role, the selected intern will get a chance to learn how to market division products in a competitive environment. Projects includes:

  1. Develop product marketing literature for use on the KLA-Tencor website. The liteature includes updating existing marketing material and working with the marketing and applications team on new application notes.
  2. Working with the marketing and web development team to optimize the captue of sales leads through the web
  3. Develop internal and external marketing collateral, such as a product catalog.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a Marketing focus. Or working on a technical degree in the fields of physics, optics, chemistry, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related fields.
    2)Excellent written and communication skills
    3)Self motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
    4)Efficient in MS Office suite

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of college experience

Responsibilities If you are passionate about driving R&D in advanced deep learning, 3D sensor fusion, Bayesian & Physics based Machine Learning, advanced Neural & HPC architectures, come and join the over 200 PhD researchers working at KLA-Tencor. We actively collaborate with research institutes all over the world with our R&D centers in the SF Bay Area, Shanghai, Tel-Aviv and Chennai. Responsibilities We are looking for a candidate who is passionate on Image Processing, Machine Learning and Deep Learning. The candidates are expected to have strong background on state-of-art image processing algorihtm, and deep understaing on Machine Learning and Deep Learning. The possible tasks that the candidate will be working on includes, but not limited to, * Understand and derive the algorithm from latest literiture and/or conferences * Implement the state-of-art Machine Learning/Deep Learning models * Design and/or Improve models for a specific application * Design new Deep learning modules * Optimize and tune a Deep Learning Model * Evalute and validate the performance of deep learning models * Perform A/B Test between models * Tackle physical problems via machine learning or deep learning * Deliver new idea/thought/finding to team members Qualifications/Education Desired 1. PhD or Master in Electrical Engineering, Compute Science, Statistics or related quantitative fields 2. Research or industrial experience on applying Machine Learning/Deep Learning on real problems 3. Experience in designing, validating and testing complex learning models 4. Proficiency in Python; familiar with Deep Learning framework (e.g., tensorflow, Caffe, Torch, Theano, Chainer) 5. Technical publication, patent, and open source project experience in machine learning, deep learning, image processing are a plus Minimum Qualifications 1.
