This Opportunity

Be involved in projects with our Northeast Region Strategic Growth Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges. WSP is currently initiating a search for a Marketing Intern. Location preference for this Intern is to be based in the Mid-Atlantic area preferably local to Pittsburgh. Additional locations may include Philadelphia, Lawrenceville, or Newark.

This intern will start in January 2022 with the potential of working through Summer.

This is an opportunity to be a part of a global organization delivering critical infrastructure that supports the safe and sustainable growth of the communities in which we live. While based in a specific office, the Marketing Intern will serve as a regional resource working throughout a multi-state region. The position will integrate with a high-performing, supportive team of marketing coordinators, graphic designers, and strategy development staff responsible for securing some of the largest infrastructure projects in the Northeast U.S. The Marketing Intern will work with a variety of staff, from planners and engineers to designers and construction managers, supporting the marketing team with proposals, graphics, qualification packages, award submittals, resumes, project descriptions, and data management

Your Impact

  • Prepare materials for proposal submissions

  • Prepare materials for presentations or client meetings

  • Gather information on clients, and prospective clients projects

  • Assist in analyzing data

  • Assist in requests for information, drafting correspondence

  • Assist with updating marketing materials, including resumes and project descriptions

  • Other duties are assigned

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • Must have completed courses related to business, marketing, communications and/or journalism

  • CURRENT standing as a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Graduate student actively enrolled in an ABET-accredited Undergraduate or Graduate Program. (Those who have already completed degree studies do not qualify as candidates for this or any of our internships.)

  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP"s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures

  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP"s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies .

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite

  • Experience with Microsoft Office

This Opportunity WSP is currently initiating a search for a Summer 2022 Civil Engineering Intern for our Pittsburgh, PA office. Be involved in projects with our Transportation Engineering Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges. Your Impact * Support a variety of engineering tasks with the goal to develop technical, social and ethical skills. * Assist in engineering design using CADD software. * Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations. * Perform basic highway and traffic design, and operational analysis functions. * Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation. * Complete training on assigned tasks. * Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures. * Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs. * Please note that there is no relocation or housing assistance associated with this internship. Who You Are Required Qualifications * Current standing as a Rising Senior or Graduate Student actively enrolled in an accredited Civil Engineering Undergraduate or Graduate program. * Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. * Self-motivated with strong technical writing, analytical and communication skills. * Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work products. * The selected candidate must have the ability to work in the United States immediately. * Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with Microstation and/or AutoCAD. * Prior leadership experience, or relevant coursework. * Local candidates preferred.
