Project Description:

Themarketing intern will report to the SeniorBrand Manager and be tasked with a few key projects. Primary responsibilitywill be supporting thecoordinating and executing one of our key Marketing events taking placeis the fall. Specific duties will include trafficking our event materialsthrough our creative development and approval process. Managing changes andupdates with our marketing agency and working with the event planner on thecustomer registration site. Secondaryresponsibility will be to assist with the creative development andimplementation of our re-designed website. Specific duties will includetrafficking designs and copy through our creative development and approvalprocess. Managing changes and updates with our marketing agency and workingwith the developers on the implementation of the new designs. In this role, youwill have close contact with Senior Leadership including our VP of GlobalMarketing and Communications so professionalism and organization are a must.

Qualifications:

  • Marketing major or in an MBA program
  • Eager to learn, self-starter and motivated
  • Highly organized
  • Strong communications skills
  • An interest in science and medical technology
  • Fully versed in all Microsoft application
  • Exposure to basic web marketing concepts

Understand and prioritize customer value concepts/needs and importance through primary and secondary market research, including one-on-one customer interviews, focus groups and web-based surveys.
