This internship is located in Pueblo, CO. Applicants mustcurrently reside in the La Crosse area in order to be considered, asinternships require year-round availability while attending school full time.This position is targeted to be a 1-year minimum assignment with thepossibility to continue until graduation. Hours are flexible, but student mustbe able to work minimum 3-hour shifts with minimum 20 hours/week during schoolyear and up to 40 hours/week with approved overtime during summer/holidays.Workdays are flexible to accommodate student schedules within business hours of7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Assist incustomer visits and customer surveys.
UnderstandTrane product and system.
Develop a goodunderstanding of Trane order/project acquisition process.
Handle alldetails of assigned projects from inception to completion within themutually agreed-upon timetable.
Keep currenton industry innovations and trends.
Full-timestudent status in a 2-year or 4-year program with major in business, math,science, or marketing required.
Strongnumerical and computer skills required.
Basicunderstanding of Trane's product offerings and knowledge of Trane'sincentive price system, electronic pricing systems, and order/projectacquisition is a plus.
Must beproficient in generating and using spreadsheets and databases.
Capability todetermine when additional assistance is needed with an accountmanager/sales assistant/customer or business unit and ability to obtain assistancerequired.
