As an Internship Team Member, you will experience what it is like to be a team member at destinations across the enterprise; all while joining a cohort of peers to learn, grow and explore what it means to work in hospitality. This 12-week internship program is designed to engage you beyond the day-to-day work experience; inviting you to participate in activities and events that cater to the specific interests and needs of today's students.

GENERAL SUMMARY

As a Corporate Marketing Intern, you will be exposed to all aspects of hospitality marketing while working closely with marketing team members and being mentored by our Corporate Marketing Specialist. Your day-to-day responsibilities will focus on customer engagement and building customer loyalty.

In addition, you will also be exposed to various aspects of public relations, event marketing, direct marketing, e-marketing, and social media. This role is designed to give you exposure to the daily work of a marketing generalist while also allowing you to take the lead on an individual project of your own design.

WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH (STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES):

As the Corporate Marketing Intern, you will gain exposure to business operations in three key areas, including the foundation of our marketing: the Caesars Rewards Loyalty Program, events & promotions, social media, and public relations. As an intern at Caesars Entertainment, you are given the opportunity to identify a business need and address this need through an independent project in conjunction with your rotational program.

BRANDING

• Review and understand brand standards for Caesars Rewards and Horseshoe

• Develop posters and other collateral as needed

EVENTS & PROMOTIONS

• Assist with the creation and development of promotions and events

• Learn the PKMS software, assist in the building and testing of promotional programs

• Assist with the execution of a special event or promotion, take the lead on an event or promotion

• Learn the gaming regulations for the state of IN and execute events and promotions following these regulations

SOCIAL MEDIA/DIGITAL MARKETING

• Develop a social media monthly strategy, develop posts, execute against this strategy

• Develop social media promotions to increase engagement

• Research new apps and methods for posting, video, creativity

PUBLIC RELATIONS

• Assist with internal and external requests for information and materials

• Responsible for tracking and creating the daily press coverage report

• Support the creation of presentations and/or business cases

• Assist with drafting and/or editing of press releases

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Regularly communicate project status

• Assist with assignments/projects

• Provide input to improve marketing efforts

• Additional related duties as requested

EDUCATION:

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree and is a junior or senior in credit hours

• Preferred major in Hospitality, Marketing, Design, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or Journalism
