The Marketing Graphic Designer plays a key role in creating unique property branding and is responsible for generating stunning digital and print creative to support the company and its portfolio of properties in accordance with Holland Partner Group's Core Values.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Generate high-quality content that fulfills the day-to-day graphic needs of the marketing, sales, and onsite property teams.
Ensure Holland Partner Group maintains a spot on the cutting edge of digital and print design trends.
Create eye-popping online ads, social media graphics, email designs, and landing page mockups to enhance the customer experience at various touchpoints in the marketing lifecycle.
Design graphics, diagrams, and presentations that turn abstract ideas and data into tangible, compelling, and actionable visual resources.
Collaborate with the marketing team to on day-to-day marketing activities (i.e. email templates, campaign setup, scheduling, design campaigns, etc.).
Ensure clear and prompt communication and dialogue with all members of the project team.
Develop unique graphics, logos, and branding materials that help set Holland properties apart from competitors and elevate them in the eyes of future residents.
Consistently help develop and maintain the Holland Partner Group brand identity and ensure consistency across all projects and mediums.
Work alongside the marketing team to identify ways to improve Holland's digital footprint and create better experiences through user-focused design on all our websites.
Conceptualize and create materials for various locations (i.e. banners, window graphics, etc) based on physical inspections.
Collaborative with the creative team to develop a variety of projects to meet marketing objectives.
Assist in the development and design of marketing communications plans, branding guidelines, presentations, corporate collateral, and other internal resources.
Manage prompt communication with outside vendors including quotes, timelines, and final files.
Help organize and manage marketing asset storage.
Support adherence to Fair Housing practices, and Landlord Tenant Laws.
Represent Holland Partner Group in a professional manner at all times.
Conform to company apparel standards and set a positive example for all associates.
Perform all other duties as directed and assist the overall team effort in any way possible.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. BA in Graphic Design, Web Design, Marketing, Advertising, or related field preferred.
Experience: Two+ years' experience working as a graphic designer or artist creating high level design for print and web with experience required. Experience designing website mockups and wireframes strongly preferred. Bachelors degree in Graphic Design may be considered in lieu of some experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Ability to autonomously move a project from concept to completion with minimal direction.
Expert knowledge of branding, visual design principles, and typography.
Ability to deliver production-ready projects for digital and print media.
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
Functional knowledge of HTML & CSS (strongly preferred).
Extensive knowledge of photography, typography, and graphic design.
Ability to change direction and focus in dynamic project environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with project/task management tools such as Trello, Asana, etc.
Skilled in maintaining confidentiality with sensitive and personal information.
Demonstrated skill of time management and priority focus.
Competency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees while inspiring respect and credibility.
Ability to accurately perform multiple tasks in a complex and fast-paced operating environment.
Attendance: This full-time position is exempt and requires the ability to be present and available during business hours to meet company and department needs. Additional hours or flexible schedule may be required.
This position also requires:
Valid driver's license.
Travel up to 20% of the time, and overnight stays.
Ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds.
Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally.
