The Marketing Generalist will have the opportunity to work with and support various groups within the Marketing Team including Demand Generation, Operations, Analytics, and Project Management.

Responsibilities

  • Research, secure, and culminate additional information to support data for sales campaigns

  • Perform data quality assurance and data stewardship tasks to ensure harmonization of data across multiple systems

  • Track campaign development, management, and reporting across marketing engagement and CRM tools

  • Assist in the preparation of emails in Pardot, our marketing automation platform, including laying content out in templates, reviewing, and testing

  • Support ongoing content management in various marketing tools and oversee client welcome kits

  • Support Project Management Team in maintaining accuracy of tasks, projects and campaigns within our project management tool, CoSchedule

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Currently/recently enrolled in a degree program focused on Marketing

  • Ability to conceive, manage, and prioritize multiple projects and support of number of constituencies simultaneously

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to work proactively and effectively within a fast paced, complex and dynamic environment

  • High level of self-direction, self-motivation and energy

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience with MS Office Suite

  • Demonstrated ability to learn technology tools

We are looking for someone that has experience in working in multi-platform environments and orchestration of data across different systems to enable marketing campaigns.<br /> <br /> The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on experience with Pardot and Salesforce platforms and a strong understanding of lead management, segmentation, campaign management and is highly skilled in constructing efficient processes, thinking analytically, leading team members to meet current needs, maximizing platform utilization, and building to scale.<br /> This role will work cross-functionally with marketing teams, IT, Sales and Sales Operations around business analysis and discovery, workflow and process design, requirements definition, project management and coordination, instance configuration tasks, data migration, testing, training & new feature launches.<br /> <br /> <strong>Responsibilities:</strong> <ul> <li>Assess and optimize the Marketing Automation platform, Pardot, and the integrations to fully utilize its capability and align to our ongoing digital marketing strategy</li> <li>Develop the roadmap and programs needed to drive a best-in-class marketing automation platform that enables and supports customer engagement along the digital buying journey for a global marketing team</li> <li>Manage marketing automation efforts and processes, proactively research and implement the latest best practices, strategies, and industry standards</li> <li>Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign tracking and lead flow/score management</li> <li>Analyze the flow of lead generation to the CRM and collaborate within Marketing Operations and Sales Operations to ensure leads are routed correctly and attributed to the correct campaigns</li> <li>Work with management to define KPIs, create reporting, analyze campaign performance</li> <li>Create recommendations to continuously improve the campaign infrastructure to enable better reporting and ROI</li> <li>Provide back up support for our DBA to support connecting and loading lead lists from third-party data sources while ensuring proper lead source attribution and campaign membership</li> <li>Perform standard QA functions and code review for campaigns, automation workflows, email assets, and other customer-facing assets</li> <li>Troubleshoot issues and assist the team however necessary to reach lead generation goals</li> <li>Be a lead management champion to optimize our lead strategy and execution in partnership with our Marketing, Sales Operations, and Sales teams</li> <li>Ensure the marketing automation platform is optimized to generate, score, route, attribute, and report on new qualified lead records</li> <li>Share best practices around segmentation, AB testing, targeting, and personalization of emails communications to the marketing managers</li> <li>Review the teams current use of Pardot and Salesforce and identify and help implement improvement opportunities</li> <li>Act as marketing automation SME and provide support and training to internal colleagues as needed</li> <li>Managing the implementation of landing pages to ensure the necessary technical requirements are met including tagging, form posting, integration with other 3<sup>rd</sup> party applications like ON24, etc</li> <li>Create a template/code library of reusable content for personalization, a/b testing, snippets, and ensure usage and adoption across the function</li> <li>Create custom email preference centers and unsubscribe pages with a general understanding of GDPR and CCPA compliance standards</li> <li>Enable the marketing team to build multi-step communication journeys that include integrated email and SDR outreach</li> <li>Build and debug HTML/CSS for both forms, responsive landing pages and email templates that render correctly across mobile and all major email clients and browsers</li> <li>Analyze and interpret business requirements and translate it into actionable changes for optimization and utilization of the platform</li> <li>Identify and implement process improvements including documentation updates, end user training, management of an annual action plan/roadmap</li> <li>Stay aware of all new product releases coming, how it may impact our implementation and provide recommendation on when and how we want to adopt new feature/functionalities</li> </ul> <strong>Essential Skills</strong> <ul> <li>Deep understanding of marketing automation platforms (Marketo, Pardot, Eloqua), and ability to navigate Salesforce to build and pull reports on specific campaigns to measure ROI</li> <li>Strong understanding of the campaign object in Salesforce, and best practices around hierarchies to enable roll up reporting on annual programs and activities</li> <li>Advanced user knowledge of marketing automation best practices, including campaign organization, design, execution, measurement</li> <li>Strong understanding of funnel metrics and levers to move the needle on generating qualified leads and accelerating opportunity and pipeline velocity</li> <li>Strong background in, and the ability to support the execution of email marketing programs, including segmentation, testing, deployment and continuous evaluation for improvement </li> <li>Experience with the technical aspects of email marketing preferred</li> <li>Experience with HTML, CSS to set-up automated campaigns and debug pages, forms and email content when necessary</li> <li>Strong project management and communications skills to effectively manage multiple projects with tight deadlines, and drive alignment and execution across a global team</li> <li>Able to work remotely and perform under pressure, prioritize and deliver results in a demanding and fast-paced environment that requires fresh thinking and innovation</li> <li>High aptitude to learn and adopt new applications to improve efficiency and generate results</li>
