Fortra is looking for an experienced Marketing Events Manager to oversee and manage our in-person and virtual events. This person is responsible for developing and executing on an events plan to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and grow pipeline. WHAT YOU'LL DO Develop and execute on an events strategy that aligns with business goals and objectives Coordinate tradeshow logistics including contracts, booth design, giveaways, and booth staff Collaborate with the corporate marketing team and product line teams to ensure a consistent and cohesive Fortra message Manage relationships and contracts with our vendors and other third-party providers Work closely with the product line teams and marketing operations team to define and optimize lead routing and tracking post event Measure and track event performance by analyzing data and conducting post-event evaluations with participants and stakeholders Continuously work towards improving and optimizing the event experience for our prospects and customers Collaborate with internal and external resources to execute events on time and on budget, including presenters, technical resources, and sales Oversee our virtual events and optimize processes to help drive registrations and engagement across our prospect and customer base Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or related field.

Five to seven years of marketing experience in increasingly complex roles is required. Three to five years of tradeshow and event experience is preferred. Strong time management skills and can manage multiple priorities within tight time constraints.

Do-what-it-takes mindset to execute against strategy. Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills. Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and eager to have an impact on a rapidly growing organization.
