The Marketing Director is responsible for leading the marketing efforts for the property to accomplish the center goals and working with the mall team to achieve NOI goals as applicable. This position is located in North Olmsted, OH.
Strategic Planning/Execution Works with the mall team to develop long-term vision at center in relation to its competitive marketplace. Leads the development of center's annual marketing plan and budget in support of property business plan goals. Responsible for execution of all marketing plan programs/elements including the localization of national programming as appropriate.
Day-to-Day Marketing Responsible for social media management and actively engaging stores and restaurants in website and social media opportunities. Maintains and update the center's website and coordinates email blasts and text message campaigns. Serves as the center's spokesperson for all local PR and actively engage local media. Ensures center's branding and messaging is in-line with company standards.
Community Activity Interacts with and plays an integral role as liaison for the center's surrounding community. Leads community outreach and coordinates projects emphasizing the importance of the center to the local community. Initiatives include corporate programming and community events that directly impact the center.
Leasing Assistance supports the leasing function through participation in the leasing process, development of leasing/sales materials and optimal representation of the center to appropriate retailers (existing and potential).
Revenue Generation/Sponsorship Helps drive NOI and maximize non-traditional revenue through the design and execution of appropriate income-generating events and associated sponsorships and advertising. In addition, drives the effort for obtaining local sponsorships for mall revenue, programs, and events.
Retailer Relations and Sales Production Responsible for establishing effective business relationships with the retailers on a local level in order to maximize the sales productivity and success of the events at the center.
Research/Results Measurement Coordinates research activity for center (customer studies, trade area demographics, customized research initiatives) and effectively utilizes research information in the development and execution of center's business and marketing plans. Develops appropriate measurement tools to monitor the effectiveness and overall success of the various marketing efforts.

The successful candidate will be a professional with demonstrated experience in the role or a similar role. Strong preference for candidates with national mall ownership experience.
A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.
5-7 years in retail and/or related shopping center experience preferred.
Minimum 3 years' experience in sales or marketing position.
