JC Ehrlich, a Rentokil Company, is seeking a Market Development Representative. The primary purpose of this role is to sell our Ehrlich Services and Products professionally, profitably, and ethically by executing the company's designed sales process. Sales production will come from selling our value propositions and lines of business to our existing Ehrlich Commercial Customers (Existing Customer is defined as a business that currently uses one of our Ehrlich services, or has been billed for a job within the past 12 months). The role of Market Development Sales Representative is to exceed sales projections while maintaining a customer focused service relationship.


  • Cold calling and prospecting for new business opportunities

  • Craft territory development strategies that will result in exceeding sales targets

  • Learn and maintain complete knowledge of Steritech's programs, protocols, pricing policies and service offerings

  • Build partnerships and collaborate effectively with Service and Operations personnel to maximize growth opportunities

  • Represent yourself and the Rentokil-Steritech brand as a premium provider of Brand Protection Services to your clients and prospects


  • 2+ years of experience in commercial Business to Business sales

  • Proven and verifiable track record in face to face sales in the field

  • Intermediate to Advanced computer competency, including familiarity with Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Home office with access to Internet

  • Must be able to obtain proper documentation to travel to the US for training (expenses are covered by Rentokil-Steritech)

  • Meet the following Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) requirements and background check (Offers are contingent upon verification of MVR checks and background checks and must meet the Rentokil-Steritech Corporate standard.


  • Experience in generating sales through cold calling and prospecting

  • Excellent organization and time management skills

  • Previous negotiation and presentation skills

  • Experience selling into multiple market segments

  • Strong communication, collaboration and problem solving skills

VIEW JOBS 12/5/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-05T00:00 Local Marketing Manager The Local Marketing Manager at Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant will be focused primarily on driving brand performance and growing brand equity through local/community programs and initiatives. The Local Marketing Manager supports national and local marketing efforts across all restaurants and he/she will be focused on developing local strategic initiatives while working directly with the leadership team in each individual location (General Manager, Head Chef, Head Brewer). This role is perfect for someone who has marketing and operations experience and enjoys being on the go, building strong local relationships and deepening community ties. The leader must be comfortable making independent and spontaneous decisions that directly impact the day-to-day operations of the business. This role will interact with agency partners in support of communications strategy, advertising development and program implementation. The manager will also collaborate and interact with individuals from operations, culinary, brewery and finance teams to maximize all outreach efforts. This position will report to the Vice President, Marketing and will be based from our corporate office (2502 W. Sixth St., Wilmington, Delaware). This job will also have one direct report, Event Marketing Coordinator. PROGRAM MANAGEMENT * Manage all requests made through the internal marketing request database that are placed by various departments within the restaurant (local brand activity and events), providing input and altering direction when in the best interest of the company * Manage the timing of all projects and ensure that creative development and execution are made on time and within specified budget * Oversee all integration of company-wide programming through development of General Manager guides and supporting documents to ensure flawless execution and setting guidelines for the standard of excellence * Lead calendar management for production of programming to control lead times and support needed through agency partners and internal staff INVENTORY MANAGEMENT & LOCAL EVENT PLANNING * Spearheads ordering of guest facing, company-wide supplies for all locations to maximize efficiency and provide volume-based cost savings (after independent negotiation) on items that support promotional programming; including, but not limited to sampler sheets, coasters/Loyalty Program support materials, Iron Hill logo pint glasses, consumer giveaways, and display banners/tents * Leads annual integration of key quarterly events across each individual restaurant and guides store leadership team with their quarterly planning for execution of local events and community outreach efforts; establishing benchmarks and best practices * Attends/Supports an average of two events per month across various locations LEGACY EVENTS/NEW STORE OPENINGS/COMMUNITY OUTREACH * Oversees Coordinator (direct report) that manages Brandywine Valley Craft Brewers' Festival (Media), Twilight Criterium Bike Race and Beer Garden (West Chester), Fall for Greenville (Greenville), and Great American Beer Festival (Denver); representing largest sponsorship spends of the organization annually * Assists with material development and staff training for new store openings; providing company best practices and established guidelines * Approves/Manages all charitable contribution requests across locations with independent authority to approve or decline partnerships against established guidelines * Provides feedback/confirmation through accounting/finance on payments and future duplication of efforts MISCELLANEOUS * Primary liaison on fielding questions from the field regarding various topics; including, but not limited to the following: * Local community events/sponsorships and proposed participation * Local/store-led Advertising requests * Updated in-store signage requests * Represent Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant at events in the community * Attend and participate in regularly scheduled Marketing team meetings * Stay abreast of food, beer, restaurant and pop culture trends; incorporating into brand creative direction when/where applicable * Represent Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant in a professional manner at all times * Perform other related tasks as assigned PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES * Strong drive for results with a passion for the consumer and marketing * Solid team player with strong attention to detail; organizational, communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to organize work effectively, conceptualize and prioritize objectives and exercise independent judgment based on an understanding of organizational policies and activities * Knowledgeable and innovative with strong problem solving skills * Motivated self-starter, eager to work in a hands-on learning environment * Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced atmosphere SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE * Minimum of five years' experience in marketing, operations or relevant guest-facing marketing involvement * Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related discipline * Proven leadership abilities and analytical skills * Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Calendar * Ability to work independently and in a team setting on concurrent projects * Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal staff and outside partners/vendors are must-haves WORK HOURS This role requires a minimum of 40-50 hours per week.
