Ancestry is looking for an exceptional, passionate, and highly motivated Design Intern to join our Marketing Creative team. The Marketing Creative team is responsible for the look and feel of all of Ancestry's customer-facing communications. From TV ads to social posts, packaging design to live events - we ensure Ancestry's marketing is clean, consistent, and inspiring. We are always pushing for innovative new ways to showcase our product offerings and tell the stories of our customers' discoveries. As a Design Intern on the Marketing Creative team, you will take part in assignment briefs and contribute to the concepting and design of ongoing projects.

What You'll Do:

  • Attend project briefings and design reviews

  • Contribute concepts and designs to projects

  • Source stock imagery and create custom artwork

  • Assist in production design

Who You Are:

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited US educational institution

  • Must have a graduation date after April 2022

  • Must have a passion for Design

  • Must love experimentation and exploring bold new ways to tell stories

  • Must have an understanding of different mainstream social platforms

  • Must be open to a diverse range of customers, and all the unique experiences they each have using our product

  • Ideally a solid knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud - particularly Photoshop and Illustrator

  • Video editing or motion graphics knowledge a plus

Responsibilities Responsibilities may vary by assignment depending on department and need. The Intern receives assignments from supervising staff. The Manager reviews the Intern's work occasionally.
