Marketing Data Specialist

The Marketing Data Specialist is primarily responsible for the execution and support of circulation processes within the Customer Marketing division. This position will be accountable for the timely execution of data processing to meet the mailing dates for each direct mail campaign and will be expected to fully manage projects/areas of expertise. In addition to working with direct mail data and managing project timelines, this position is responsible for coordinating all appropriate data requirements with internal departments and third-party vendors. Successful candidate will possess strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.

• Name/address standardization, hygiene, and manipulation of marketing campaign data

• Create documentation and mailing instructions for internal and external partners

• Create and execute routine triggered mailing programs

• Execute data transfers

• Validate vendor mailing simulations, proofs, and inkjet specs on all mail pieces prior to printing

• Create and manage unique identification and tracking numbers used in the mailing process for tracking mailing performance

• Update various databases with refreshed data such as circulation records, National Change of Address information, mailability score, business address indicators, mailing costs, and various other data elements

• Assist customer service with customer issues regarding mailings and customer contact preferences

• Create and execute ad hoc data queries and analyses

• Ability to work with minimal supervision, be detail and result-oriented, maintain a high level of accuracy and integrity, and have excellent time management skills.
