JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Develop, implement, and evaluate strategies, plans, and activities for providing insights from data and analytics and the development of effective marketing strategies and activities. Conduct analytics using customer behavior data and develop insights that support marketing plans to deliver growth for our strategic priorities and increase customer engagement/marketing ROI. Translate business requirements for analytics into compelling data visualizations and dashboards that provide clear and actionable insights for marketing teams and senior stakeholders. Design and implement intuitive and user-friendly reports and dashboards in Tableau. Track, analyze, and report on short- and long-term results of all marketing campaigns and activities. Evaluate, report, and suggest/implement appropriate change in response to research related to: customers, competition, market conditions and product roadmaps. Perform other duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Marketing, Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field required.

• 2 years of experience in job offered or related occupations required.

• Also required is: 2 years of experience: with forecasting and projection, with a view towards numerical background; utilizing statistics, analytics, and dashboarding; leveraging the collection and analysis of large volumes of structured and unstructured data from multiple sources; handling multi-data processes in order to streamline data collection, list making, reporting and dashboarding; and with assessment and projection of multi-factorial problems and the ability to visually display data.

• Employee reports to Elsevier, Inc. office in Cambridge, MA but may telecommute from any location within the U.S.

• Experience can be concurrent.
