Marketing Coordinator Full-Time
SandyPines is a 149 bed Residential Psychiatric Facility servicing children and adolescents ages 5 to 17. The facility is located in beautiful sub-tropical South Florida and is nestled beside Jonathan Dickinson Sate Park which creates a rustic, roomy outdoor atmosphere. SandyPines is at the county line of both Palm Beach and Martin Counties and is just minutes away from the shores of the Atlantic Ocean.
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing existing accounts and the development of new accounts in the South Florida market. Working directly with the Director of Business Development, this position is a full time marketing position that requires travel within Broward, Miami-Dade, Monroe and Collier counties 100% of the time.

Identifies the most viable, potential referral sources/payers within the target markets and determine how to access those sources.
Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of target markets and the needs of existing and potential referral sources within assigned territories.
Coordinates meetings and clinical team calls with referral sources and facility staff (i.e., tours and potential client-specific questions).
Uses effective questioning strategies to understand the customer's current situation and uncover their needs. Develops and communicates action plans and solutions which meet customer objectives.
Maintains thorough understanding of competitors' strengths and weaknesses and current positions in the market and reports any updates or changes to the Director of Business Development.
Develops a contact list of step-down/alternative placement programs and community resources in assigned markets to assist Case Management team in discharge planning.
Utilizes basic understanding of other departments and hospital processes that support utilization of continuum of care.
Search for leads and identify follow-up opportunities from the Intake Activity Log and Communication Log each week.
Demonstrates the ability to communicate program changes and concepts to referral sources. Exhibits a friendly, professional manner and appearance when meeting with referral sources and attending community functions.
Demonstrates fiscal responsibility by effectively utilizing resources in a cost effective manner.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
Excellent skills working with MS Office to include Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Publisher
Knowledge of key marketing and community relations concepts and methodology and strategic planning including knowledge of new and continuing marketing trends within the areas of community relations and account management.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
Preferred Education and Experience
BA or BS in the fields of Communication, Marketing, Health & Human Services, MA or MS, preferred. Ideal candidate will have 4+ years in healthcare or human services marketing, community relations or development.
Licensure: Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is at times very active and requires some sitting, and mostly standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching all day. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
