The Marketing Coordinator is a multifaceted and critical role within the Commercial Marketing department. The Coordinator will serve as the commercial lead for planning, agenda setting, execution and tracking of materials for the Commercial PRC and MRC weekly meetings utilizing the Veeva materials management platform. The marketing coordinator will also provide administrative support to the Marketing and Market Access departments. This individual should have a keen interest in learning pharmaceutical/biotech marketing as they will have the opportunity to lead marketing projects and initiatives.

Major Duties/Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and administer weekly PRC and MRC meetings

  • Track all promotional PRC/MRC materials through the review process

  • General administrative responsibilities for Marketing and Market Access teams

  • Brand lead in managing marketing materials storage & inventory vendor partner (SGI)

  • Manage and monitor marketing material inventory within POMs platform

  • Initiate and establish marketing SOWs and MSA contracts with Puma's global Commercial vendors and consultants

  • Ability to track department budget expenses

  • Manage contract tracker

  • Arrange and coordinate department meetings and events

  • Review operating practices and implement improvements where necessary

  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Skills & Abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites

  • Proficient in the Veeva administrator process

  • Knowledgeable of electronic calendar (Outlook a plus)

  • Strong communications and time management skills

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize daily workload and achieve deadlines

  • Work cross-functionally to support all operational functions

  • Ability to learn the regulatory submission process (2253 submissions)

  • Prior Project Management experience and/or training is a plus

Physical Demands

The Coordinator will have to spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers, which can cause muscle strain. They may also have to do some light lifting of supplies and materials periodically.

  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in a corporate environment

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position regularly requires long hours.
