Marketing Coordinator

Overview

Ithaca Hummus is seeking a hands-on Marketing Coordinator for our creative projects, bridging the critical intersection of Sales and Marketing efforts. The excitement starts on day 1— you’ll have a ‘seat at the table’ & a supportive team to foster your growth as a marketing professional (along with all the Hummus & Salsa you can eat). We’re excited to mentor a CPG enthusiast with a long-time entrepreneurial spirit, who’s stoked to be a part of a small, fast paced team.  

Responsibilities

Admin 

• Serve as linkage between sales and marketing teams, managing meeting organization, project tracking, and deadlines 

• Participate in team meetings, including note-taking, tracking actions, and addressing new/old business. 

• Interact with sales analysts to ensure timely data updates to sales and marketing teams 

• Conduct as-needed updates to forms, such as customer-specific sell sheets 

• Manage coupon creation and barcode requests 

• Oversee all trade show preparations from vendor relations to travel arrangements. 

Social & Web 

• Support Community Manager from responding to messages on our social channels to content creation 

• Assist Lead Creative in web-based executions, including Shopify page updates & communications with web teams 

Syndicated Data Systems  

• Completion of required customer forms including new item and vendor setups, deal submissions, and maintain with the most up-to-date information 

• Utilize 1WorldSync and other data repositories to set up and maintain product registrations and setup details 

• Maintain compliance documentation with customers (COI,  W9, certifications) 

Kitting & Mailing Send Outs  

• Research, source and procure marketing materials, ensuring quality and brand alignment.  

• Lead inventory management and fulfillment process for marketing materials, including but not limited to: swag, PR/influencer product samples, demo materials, and POS orders 

• Handle all aspects of mailing, including purchasing supplies, compiling mailers, and coordinating internal shipping with Inventory Coordinator.

Requirements

• An entrepreneurial spirit that’s hungry to learn all the ropes of Sales & Marketing. 

• Eager to dip into project coordination & management, with a preference for those with an ability to multi-task. 

• Exceptional organizational and communication skills. 

• Quick learner in project management tools such as Asana or Figma, web based portals/tools, and use of Excel. 

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication, or a related discipline. 

• Role open to those in Rochester, NY.
