Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Marketing Coordinator

  • Boca Raton, FL.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting various marketing activities while also possessing the ability to edit and update our college and department websites. The Marketing Coordinator will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist with the execution of marketing campaigns, manage social media platforms, assist with content creation, and ensure a seamless user experience on our websites.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, and traditional marketing.

  • Coordinate the creation and distribution of marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, and promotional items.

  • Manage and update the company's social media platforms, including content creation, scheduling, and monitoring engagement.

  • Edit and update website content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines.

  • Implement website changes, including adding new pages, updating images and videos, and improving user experience.

  • Conduct regular website audits to identify and fix any issues related to functionality, usability, or performance.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and departments, to ensure seamless integration of marketing initiatives and website updates.

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.

  • Analyze marketing data and provide reports on campaign performance, website traffic, and social media metrics.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing and website editing.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization; or bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization with 2 years of experience required.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Marketing Coordinator or similar role, with a strong focus on

website editing and management.

Proficiency in website editing tools and platforms, such as content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Omni Update, Cascade or similar.

Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic web development principles.

Experience in graphic design and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or similar software.

Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, and analytics.

Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and content marketing strategies.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational and project management abilities.

Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Familiarity with CRM systems, marketing automation tools, photography, videography and video editing.

Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative marketing ideas.

Strong analytical skills to interpret marketing data and website analytics.

Salary:

$50,000 - $60,000 per year.
