JOB SUMMARY

Provides support to the Marketing team through the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing and communications plans to meet system and business goals. Provides detailed project management, thorough market and competitive intelligence, and accurate performance analysis and reporting for marketing campaigns and tactics.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Communications, Business, or related field

EXPERIENCE*

  • 3-5 years of post-college experience in a marketing/communications-related area and/or agency

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS*

  • Experience overseeing internal writers/designers and external vendors (advertising agencies, video production, etc) to deliver content in a variety of mediums i.e., web articles, content discovery and paid search, social media, video, direct mail and printed collateral.

  • Familiarity with reviewing research and/or digital analytics reports to help optimize content and marketing initiatives

  • Experience managing projects and executing on a wide range of deliverables

  • Experience with a project management system and digital content management system

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES*

  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, implement, complete, and evaluate effectiveness of marketing campaigns

  • Ability to initiate, lead and manage projects effectively from start to finish with little oversight

  • Understands production processes and collaborates with cross functional teams including traffic, writers, designers, social media coordinators, public relations coordinators, and digital coordinators to deliver a variety of projects.

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*

  • Drives approved strategies and tactics to achieve marketing goals through the development and implementation of comprehensive, strategic, and integrated marketing and activation plans

  • Leads content creation for a variety of clinical and/or brand areas including idea generation (lead brainstorms with experts such as physicians and clinical team members as well as internal marketing/creative team members), maintains editorial calendars, research and brief writing, collaboration with internal writers to draft and organize content, and collaboration with digital team members to optimize content for user experience and SEO

  • Supports marketing department in achieving its goals through the development of comprehensive, strategic, integrated content and marketing plans. Ensure strategies and initiatives are: aligned with identified business objectives, based on a thorough market/audience analysis, and have measurable results

  • Works to understand the business and positions self as a marketing/communications content expert.

  • Successfully executes content and marketing communications plans (i.e. Oversee the production schedule and distribution of print and electronic communication; Maintain editorial calendars; Coordinate timing of regular communication channels), efficiently utilizing financial resources, adhering to brand guidelines and ensuring timely delivery

  • Responsible for guiding the development of various communications materials, including web site articles as well as print and electronic communication to support programs

  • Collaborates with extended Marketing Communications team which includes: creative, digital, social media, and PR to strategically develop and integrate key messages and campaigns.

  • Oversees the production and distribution of a variety of communications across multiple mediums and audiences (physicians, consumers, patient families)

  • Adheres to brand guidelines and works with internal writers and designers to help ensure brand standards are used across the system

SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIES*

Safety: Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for the reporting of employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to the supervisor and in the occurrence notification system.

Compliance: Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility. Identifies potential risk areas within area of responsibility and supports problem resolution process. Maintains records of compliance activities and reports compliance activities to the Compliance Office.
