Under general supervision creates and executes casino promotions and special events; assists with internal communications regarding promotions and special events; tracks competitor operations; meets with vendors and media representatives; analyzes casino/player business and completes reports; and performs other duties as required.

Essential Functions: (This job specification may not include all the duties listed, nor do the examples cover all the duties that may be performed.)
Create and execute casino/player promotions by conceiving themes, developing rules and regulations for play, producing/obtaining/placing artwork, generating communications to internal staff and external media and participating in the implementation in order to successfully advertise casino events and promotions.
Assist with promotional communications for the Carson Nugget, both internally and externally, by issuing staff memoranda regarding promotions and special events, updating the casino's Quick Reference Guide, posting internal signage and creating/disseminating press releases to media outlets in order to successfully advertise casino events and promotions.
Assist with coordination of special events for the Carson Nugget players, i.e. VIP slot tournaments, Bingo, VIP socials, etc.
Liaise with outside community and non-profit organizations for which the Nugget provides sponsorship by meeting with representatives in order to facilitate support, monetary and in-kind donations.
Represent the Carson Nugget by meeting with vendors, media representatives in order to produce marketing campaigns, promotions, special and other events.
Track and analyze various marketing data such as revenues generated, guest play and other indicators in order to create reports which evaluate and provide information on the success of specific promotions and special events.
Track and analyze the effectiveness of competitors' marketing campaigns, promotions, advertising and other aspects of their business in order to determine profitability and success.
Respond to guests' questions, using the Golden Touch customer service model, providing information about casino gaming promotions, special and other events and/or programs procedures outlined in the Quick Reference Guide in order to assist guests, advertise marketing campaigns and encourage guest attendance and participation.
