JOB SUMMARY

Represents Caddell through public relations efforts, including administration of social media, sponsorship opportunities, physical presence at various association events and conferences, etc. Maintains press contacts and distributes press releases. Performs data analytics and market research. Administers marketing department budget, and other administrative duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Represent Caddell at special association events and conferences. Network with local business and industry peers to develop relationships and keep current in A/E/C trends.

  • Maintain and grow Caddell's social media presence by developing and executing a yearly strategic plan for pre-designed content, as well as timely posts as appropriate.

  • Responsible for obtaining photos for the purpose of social media (either self-shot or acquired through another attendee) at corporate events and activities.

  • Support Governmental, Commercial and Industrial business development efforts (as requested) through job searching, tracking upcoming RFPs, and initial phone calls as appropriate.

  • Keep national, local, and project-specific regional media contact database current, and foster relationships with appropriate media representatives.

  • Write and distribute press releases to appropriate media channels, and track/log successful media placement.

  • Compile and submit periodical ranking lists, with oversight from the Chief Financial Officer.

  • Oversee direct mail campaigns, Christmas cards/gifts, and distribution of external marketing pieces, including corporate magazines and newsletters.

  • Conduct research for specific markets, companies, projects, industries, etc. Help schedule focus groups and other research-oriented activities.

  • Produce monthly, quarterly and annual digital communication reports, including social media metrics, and website analytics.

  • Administer marketing department budget, including cost coding, monthly budget vs. actual comparisons, invoice tracking, expense reports, and credit card reconciliation.

  • Support Proposals department (as needed) with resume formatting, proofing, project profiles, etc.

REQUIREMENTS

Education/Experience: Minimum high school diploma/GED and 2+ years' experience in a professional office environment required. College degree strongly preferred. Previous experience in construction preferred, but not required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong business and technical writing skills, strong organizational skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to learn new computer programs, and a high level of computer proficiency. Strong familiarity with internet searches. Gregarious, outgoing and willing to make initial contacts. Ability to cope with and handle rejection. Ability to be a self-starter and attain goals with minimal supervision. Customer service oriented. Understanding of website analytics. Proficient in Microsoft Suite required. Adobe creative software a plus.
