Under general supervision of the Marketing Manager/Director, responsible for coordinating the company's marketing activities. Responsibilities also include acting as a liaison to internal customers and the sales organization, distributing marketing materials, supporting with tradeshow events, and gathering market data.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for handling sales associate inquiries regarding marketing information and in general marketing strategy concerning products and services.
Fulfills requests for marketing materials and product announcements.
Collaborates closely with other members of the marketing team to execute activities supporting the business including email communications, web banner messaging, creative design, copywriting, etc.
Maintains the company's product catalog with updates to include new items or the removal of discontinued items, as well as ensuring accuracy in listed product details such as NDC numbers, item numbers, product size availability and manufacturer information.
Gathers market research data and generally stays in the know with industry news to be able to support the sales teams.
Assists and/or performs collateral production; includes producing brochures and sales tools, media checks, proof reading and relaying general direction on concept design.
Provides program/product support by assisting manager in researching and resolving issues, distributing paperwork, and creating marketing pieces and campaigns.
May support tradeshow activities including assembling materials to be shipped to the exhibits and may also assist the tradeshow coordinator with other planning tasks.
Generates marketing activity reports and analyzes data to help identify successes, potential prospects and overall business opportunities.
Performs related duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires two (2) to four (4) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.
