GENERAL NATURE OF JOB:

The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the marketing team, outside sales teams, product management, internal stakeholders and external partners to support marketing efforts across the organization. This role will be heavily focused on coordination of trade shows with frequent exposure and inclusion in other key marketing functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Event Management: (Trade Shows, Training Events, Meetings)

  • Trade Show Coordination

  • Manage the planning process, strategy development, event calendars, and internal communication of all trade shows

  • Recommend pre and post event marketing activities, including sponsorships

  • Create standard operating procedures for process improvement

  • Coordinate development of event specific sales collateral

  • Compose and deliver pre-event communication both internally and to attendees

  • Assist with lead capture, documentation and campaign management within CRM for timely follow up, to include monthly/quarterly/yearly reporting

  • Manage all pre-event activities including registration, booth placement, onsite services, product for display, marketing literature and others as needed; including 3rd party relationships

  • Coordinate shipping to/from events, prepare shipment pack lists

  • Compile and distribute a detailed summary of all information pertinent to the event

  • Education/Training Event Coordination

  • Provide support for sales/marketing event organizer

  • Coordinate venue and travel/hotel accommodations, as needed

  • Coordinate content for collateral and other sales/marketing communications

  • Assist with marketing of training events, internally and externally, as needed

  • Sales/Distributor Meetings and Events

  • Provide support for sales/marketing with event planning and coordination

  • Coordinate internal resources for meetings

General Department Support

  • Promotional item portfolio management, including vendor relations

  • Assist with department purchasing, invoice processing, cost tracking and other administrative functions as directed and required

Communications Support

  • Generate and finalize marketing/sales presentations

  • Coordinate quarterly internal newsletter content

  • Feedback, including proofing of marketing content may be required

  • Assist with management of trademark portfolio

  • Occasional data input related to Marketing campaigns and other activities

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent experience - Bachelor's degree a plus

  • 1 - 3 years of relevant experience desired

  • Above average computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office

  • Excellent organizational skills, time management and prioritization

  • Ability to work cross functionally, take direction and work independently

  • Must be comfortable in a deadline driven environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience with a CRM (Salesforce.com) and Marketing Automation platforms (Pardot) preferred, but not required

  • Copy-writing skills and experience a plus, but not required

  • Open to ongoing personal development

VIEW JOBS 2/5/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-05-05T00:00 Summary: As a Safety Coordinator, you will utilize your strong knowledge of Environmental, Health and Safety procedures to partner with every department at Garlock Sealing Technologies in order to push forward the company's safety-first culture. You will be involved in plant walk-throughs, safety reviews, daily Go-n-See Board walks, and tactical items including supporting operation safety at the plant level. In addition, you will support the longer-term safety projects while helping to reinforce a safety management strategy that promotes accountability Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Analyzing, making recommendations, and influencing safety improvements and behaviors. * Participating in and providing leadership to the incident investigation process including the coordination of corrective actions and participation in escalated injury/incident calls. * Researching, recommending, and assisting in the development and implementation of safety solutions. * Educating staff at all levels in safety issues and responsibilities. * Partner with operations, maintenance supervision, and manufacturing employees to support their understanding and application of our safety systems, culture and values. * Participate in the development and implementation of site-wide safety programs. * Coordinates and facilitates the Joint Safety Steering Team (JSST), building and enacting functioning safety teams on the campus within each unit. * Building your own safety ambassadors across the campus to assist with on-boarding and continuing to be supporters of our focused safety culture. * Perform safety audits, inspections, and evaluations to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions in accordance with regulatory requirements. * Analyze incident and hazard identification reports for trends; make recommendation for correcting unsafe conditions and actions and assist with implementation. * Conduct incident investigations, including root cause analysis; support line management with developing corrective actions communicating the results. * Provide specialty safety services and assessments addressing requirements that include ergonomics and industrial hygiene. * Investigate complaints and reports of unsafe or unhealthful working conditions.
