SolarWinds Service Desk (Formally Samanage) is a cloud-based IT service management solution built to streamline the way IT provides support and delivers services to the rest of the organization. We are looking for a passionate customer marketer to join our content team. The Content Specialist role is a mix of content marketing, strategic communications and digital marketing.
Do you have a desire and flair for engaging with customers and hearing about their experience with our products? This role will lead the strategy to generate customer reviews, surpass goals and targets and take those reviews to create meaningful content for greater campaigns and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for 'wowing' versus settling for 'okay and expected'.
Own the strategy and execution of our processes for driving customer reviews across major review sites, including (but not limited to) Capterra, G2Crowd, and Gartner Peer Insights
Build integrated campaigns to drive more customer reviews utilizing different mediums
Create content, emails and social media posts to entice customers to write reviews
Develop unique and out-of-the-box ways to incentivize customers to write reviews
Exemplify first-rate customer service skills in working with customers across mediums, including email, phone and chat
Maintain a high app score and continuous growth of the quantity of reviews on iOS AppStore and GooglePlay
Manage reporting, analysis and on-going tracking of customer reviews
Work with vendors across review channels to utilize opportunities for them to support our customer review goals
Showcase exceptional customer experiences through external-facing content and shares within the organization
Lead and participate in team brainstorms for brand, product and demand generation
Review generation content development
Support content team with post creation and scheduling of posts across social media channels
Minimum of 2+ years of corporate writing/editing experience
Previous experience working in the B2B tech industry in a marketing/content role
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications or Marketing
Possess excellent grammar with the ability to adapt your written voice to a technical audience
Detail-oriented with an eye for quality
Exceptional strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
Highly self-motivated and volunteer readily, seeking increased responsibilities
Thrive in a fast-paced environment
Flexible and willing to do 'what it takes' to achieve goals
You have high energy and enthusiasm -- eager to engage with customers and evangelize the company's offering
